The Sound of Light

The relationship between sound and light has always been fascinating. Many believe there is a one to one relationship between them. Many believe there is not. Some believe sound and light are the same thing. Others believe they are very different. This current blog is dedicated to this subject. After this initial writing, I will contribute other thoughts along with you.
The relationship between light and sound is most intriguing because both are measured as frequencies in cycles per second. Sound is measured from the ten’s to the ten of thousand’s of cycles per second. Light manifests as billions of cycles per second. Therefore, one way of viewing the relationship between sound and light is to assume that light is speeded up sound, or conversely, that sound is slowed down light.
The ancient Hermetic Principle of “As Above, So Below” is often quoted in regard to the relationship between sound and light. Mathematically, if you speed up a sound’s frequency by doubling it forty times, you come up with a frequency that is within the parameters of light. Conversely, if you slow down light’s frequency forty times, you have a frequency within the parameters of sound. The frequency of 518.7 cycles per second, which creates a note somewhat near what we call a “C” for example, when speeded up in this manner, falls within the range of what we see as a green. Or, when slowed down, this greenish colored light that vibrates at approximately 570 billion cycles per second. becomes that note “C”–at least mathematically. Very dark red vibrates at a frequency of approximately 430 billion cycles per second, which when reduced by 40 octaves becomes 391.3 cycles per second., creating the note of “G”. The spectrum of violet goes from light violet at around 690 billion cycles per second (which equates to 627.8 cycles per second, creating a note somewhere around a Eb) to very dark violet at about 750 billion cycles per =second. (which when reduced 40 octaves manifests as 682.4 cycles per second, creating a note close to an F).
The question is, while the above information is mathematically correct, is it true? Is light sound and vice versa or is this relationship very different.
To my knowledge, no one has ever succeeded in turning a sound wave into a light color without the use of a computer or some other instrument which can easily effect the relationship between sound and light by having specific colors assigned to specific notes. This does not mean there is not a direct relationship between sound and light, but thus far, no one has figured out exactly what it is.
When I first became this journey into sound over 30 years ago, I also begin an examination of light and the relationship between the two. As I delved into the subject I found that many different people had expressed very different understandings about the relationship between light and sound. Within the last twenty years, the most common relationship found between musical notes and their colors matches the notes of one octave with the colors of the electromagnetic spectrum, starting with the note C. Red = C, orange = D, yellow = E, green = F, blue = G, indigo = A, and violet = B. This is a very different relationship than the octave doubling relationship discussed previously.
It may be that color and sound are two very different energy forms or it may be that there is a direct relationship of color to sound. But it may be that this relationship is much more complicated than simply taking a note and bringing it up 40 octaves to the bandwidth of light. It may be that as sound goes up the electromagnetic spectrum, that as it changes energy, the mathematics become more complicated and different than simple doubling. Many years ago, I met a visiting scientist at MIT who was working on the relationship of sound to color and had developed a formula 4 pages long on this subject. I don’t know whether this formula was correct, but it is another indication of the extraordinary possibilities inherent in relating color to sound.
Is there a direct one to one relationship between sound and light? Is it purely geometric (being based upon the doubling of one to another) or is there something else? Are sound and light similar but different energies that can synergistically work with each other-with any sound carrying any color and visa versa? Or does a specific sound have to be matched with a specific color in order for there to be an effect?
I know that many of you are using some relationship between sound and light in your healing work. I invite all who utilize some relationship between sound and light to contribute to this blog.

The Cousto and Dinshah assignments of pitch to color are basicaly identical. The scale begins with G = Red and moves through the octave with some “polarities” defined. Obviously, this entire system of correlation is based more upon intellectual and mathematical premises than “facts,” as such.
The traditional “archetypal” system begins with C = Red, D = Orange, E = Yellow, F = Green, G = Blue, A = Indigo, and B = Violet. Again, this system is also weak, mathematically, scientifically, etc. However, it IS and HAS BEEN the global system used throughout traditional history by most religio/mystical cultures.
For me, the “key” lies in the concept of “polarization.” For example, Dinshah talks about using polar tones, e.g. E and A#, etc. I see, mentally and synesthetically, E as Yellow, A# Indigo-Violet…but the functions may alternate, or reverse. E might be Indigo-Violet, and A# may be Yellow. Such Goethian “axes” on the octahedral fields underlying all Synergetic formations make clear this geometric growth, e.., from tetrahedra, to octahedra, dodecahedra, icosahedra, and vector equilibria.
The Cymatic healing approach developed and used by Dr. Peter Guy Manners in therapies, by the way, insists upon using analogue sound — per previous blogs. Within that context, I disparage all digital compression — and always check wave sound files on an oscilloscope — just to make sure I am obtaining smooth sine waves with little or no distortion or particle curves. Sound Forge also allows for analyzing the generated partials…overtones, and undertones…all important, no?
For me, if a color or electro-magnetic wave front is known to have healing efficacy, I use it. If I have a commutation of sound for the same condition. I use that, as well. In using both sound and light/color, I simply combine the two “knowns,” regardless of all the theories people put forward.
Consider, a five-frequency sound array has all kinds of harmonics and potentials. Also, the “best” sounds for healing, I believe, are the lower, ELF, and base pulse-tone propagations which speak to the natural rhythms of the body, mind, and spirit. Light and color have myriad more potentials — and I suspect will never be totally systematized with sound waves.
Similary, in light/color therapy we may begin with, say, Yellow on the solar plexus, then Indigo on the throat, followed by meridian stimulation with another color, etc. Thus, using specific tones, assigned to specific colors, to treat conditions in a systematic way is farught with variables and, shall we say, “silliness?”
Find the sound/music that works, combine with the light/color protocol that works. This is my approach in therapies.
I perceive Intent as a focussed Consciousness. All light, color, and sound exsit in Consciousness. The question is: Is the Intent a regular, unbroken, sinusoidal flow — or is it dominated by intellect, egotism, emotions, etc?
Anyway, these are my off-the-cuff thoughts right now.

Sound propagates in air at the rate of approximately 700 miles per hour, depending on air pressure and temperature. This process involves countless collisions between the atoms and molecules that form the earth’s atmosphere. Each collision creates friction between the air components, resulting in heat, more accurately described as electromagnetism.
The amplitude of the electromagnetism so created is a function of the sound pressure level, the local temperature and the local air pressure, the latter quantity dictating the number of collisions that occur.
Hypothetically, there are two component frequencies of oscillation in the sound-generated electromagnetism. The first is the frequency of the electromagnetism, determined by the energy in the collisions. The second component is the modulation of the electromagnetism by the inherent sound periodicities of the colliding atoms or molecules. The effect is similar to amplitude-modulated radio transmissions, although with Sonic Propagation of Electromagnetic Energy Components (SPEEC) the “carrier wave” frequency is far higher (light frequency.)
Put simply, the electromagnetism created by sound propagation through air is modulated by the same sound periodicities that created the electromagnetism.
The modulated electromagnetism, created by everyday sounds, typically lie in the infrared spectrum, although very low intensity sounds result in the creation of modulated microwave or short wave radio frequency energy. Very high intensity sound could, theoretically, create visible light.
The sound of a person shouting outdoors typically expands to a sphere of about one mile in diameter before becoming too weak to be detected by human hearing. However, the electromagnetic sphere created by a human shout would not be significantly attenuated by clear air. (Note that most sounds and most electromagnetic energy travel spherically, not as waves as is commonly believed.)
The modulated infrared electromagnetic sphere, created by an outdoor sound, will travel relatively unimpeded through cloudless skies and even beyond the earth’s atmosphere into space, where it will travel forever unless it meets dense matter. This infers that all the data contained within outdoor sounds has been rushing through the Cosmos at the speed of light since the earth took form. Conversley, sounds created on other worlds have been rushing toward us, not as sound but as the electromagnetic component of the sounds. All we need to ‘listen’ to them is a suitable detector.
In conclusion, there is indeed a direct relationship between sound and light, in fact, electromagnetism could not exist without sound.

Thanks so much for your notes on “the sound of light.” and the responses. As I see it, intervals of sound and colors of light are related by:
1) The number seven/eight.
2) Seven/eight colors and their seven/eight complementary colors, as seen in a double rainbow:
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, (bluegreen), indigo, purple

green, aqua, blue, violet, magenta, (peach), orange, gold
3) Seven/eight intervals of ratios and their seven/eight inverse ratios:
taking 1:1 = 256Hz and multiplying each ratio by 256 for frequencies of each note.

In response to Gary Buchanan’s blog, although my approach to the relationship between sound and light is focused mainly on physics I am interested in the synaesthetic phenomena in which certain individuals can “see sound” or “hear colours.” My interest in synaesthesia stems partly from the fact that our sense organs translate sounds and light into trains of electrical pulses that our brains interpret as sound or light, so our perception of sound is essentially electrical, not acoustic.
I have had a few synaesthetic experiences myself, usually when drifting off to sleep. If a sudden noise occurs I have sometimes seen, in my mind’s eye, a complex circular pattern, rather cymatic in its appearance, interestingly it is always black and white.
I’m not sure where the value lies in the Cousto and Dinshah systems mentioned by Gary. Why should we attribute a given musical note to a particular colour? Although sound and light are related, in the sense that light is a function of sound (there has to be a collision between two particles before electromagnetism can be created) they are, nevertheless, different physical phenomena. Isn’t attributing a colour to a given frequency of sound merely an artistic device because, perhaps, we as humans like relationships even when they are not based on something real?
Barbara Hero’s blog is also interesting. I would like to ask what foundation or principle Barbara is using to employ the number seven and eight? Is this driven by our human need to see/enjoy a correspondence or is there an underlying physical or mathematical principle that we should be aware of? Although sound and light have spectrums of frequencies that humans can perceive they are, as I said above, very different phenomena. I need to understand why we would multiply a given sound frequency by a given number until it matches the numeric equivalent of a particular light frequency? This is not a criticism but a genuine question based on my curiosity to understand the reasoning.

A partial answer to John Reid. The different wavelengths of light in the seven colors have specific angles. If the angles are known, they could be matched in a “lambdoma matrix” of angles. I use the rows and columns of the lambdoma matrix to generate pure harmonic intervals of harmonics and sub harmonics, usually known as overtones and undertones. The method of finding the angles in the matrix is based on applying the mathematical function “arc tangent” to the ratios. Each ratio is aligned with a specific generating musical keynote. Each keynote according to Pythagorean color-music theory has a ratio, a notation and a corresponding color spectrum. For instance C is red, D is orange, etc. If the angle of red is found in the color spectrum. C at 256Hz is the frequency of the audible sound in the middle C range. Then find the appropriate ratios, frequencies, notations, intervals and colors within the lambdoma matrix ( a 16 by 16 entry matrix). See my website: http://www.lambdoma,com

Thanks for your partial answer to my query Barbara. I admire your work, having bought your book many years ago on the lambdoma matrix. I understand that the angles you are referring to derive from the sound frequency ratios. However, when it comes to light frequencies I haven’t quite grasped where the angles would derive.
The model of electromagnetism I work with is one in which the energy radiates spherically, well known to physicists but, oddly, not often discussed in physics text books. The term “wavelength” would then refer to the extremes of inward and outward radial oscillations of this expanding bubble of magnetic energy. This spherical space-form is, in fact, how almost all natural light propagates. (We could talk about laser light and light beamed from a parabolic reflector in a separate communication.) The various colours of visible light relate to the frequency ranges of the oscillating excursions within the magnetic bubble.
Having ’set out my stall,’ so to speak, have you been able to figure where the corresponding angles derive, to be equivalent with the angles relating to the arc tangent of sound frequency ratios?

My thoughts on the subject of Sound & Light concerns:
1) Arbitrariness–using any divisor or multiplier you can get from anywhere to anywhere on the EM (Electro-Magnetic) spectrum. Enter Rife etc. The question is, what does it prove?
2) The EM spectrum behaves entirely different for our eyes – that is why we don’t use aluminum antennae to enhance our vision.
3) And sound is actually in an entirely different medium – physical not EM.
4) At root we can say everything is based on frequency, which is either
5) Mystical and able to be studied such as esoteric energy like the subtle bodies and the chakras), or
6) Scientific and able to be studied such as quantum physics and string theory.
7) But I have yet to see any non-agenda’d correlation of frequency or color to LASTING emotional well being, EXCLUSIVE OF THE PLACEBO EFFECT.

I understand that the light spectrum exhibits angles of colors from a prism. Each angle of each color could be found and then matched with the angle on the table of ratios of the Lambdoma Matrix of intervals of sound. This is just a suggestion of an idea of relating angles of color to angles of sound. It is just a way to experiment with the concept.

I applaud your inspirational approach to the seven rays. It would be a new discovery in physics if a relationship could be shown to exist between the seven rays of the lambdoma and the seven rays of colour investigated by Newton.
Remember that visible light is a magnetic phenomena and that transparent glass and plastic allow the transmission of this magnetism due to the arrangement of molecules in their respective matrices. Take, for example, a prism made from glass. The particular shape of the prism and the material from which it is made allows the magnetic pheomenon of light to be transmitted and refracted, causing some frequencies of magnetism to be bent at different angles to others. The mechanism behind this refractive phenomenon is what must be investigated. We need to look at the underlying mathematics and search for a correlation with the mathematics that govern the lambdoma. Jonathan, great question! I think that sound and light are related because (1) they are cyclical, (2) they manifest electrically and cyclically in our bodies, and (3) they can both be arranged harmonically. I suspect that the same harmonic principles apply to both. I wonder, for example, what a light frequency ratio of 5:4 in the visible spectrum looks like. How about a “major triad” of 3:4:5?
I also suspect that the relative effect of a given pitch, whatever the effect or pitch, can be reinforced by displaying a color that is an “exact” octave count above that pitch, in the way that Jonathan was outlining in his initial entry. The reverse is probably also true.
I’d extend that to other frequencies, as well, particularly those that have the ability to entrain body rhythms like respiration, heart beat, brain waves, etc.
My sense is that cyclicality and harmony are the key — vibrations, no matter where they occur, are probably related. So sound and light aren’t the same, since different things are vibrating. But they’re related because they’re cyclic and can be harmonic.

This discussion is fascinating to me.
Perhaps as receivers and transmitters of energy, we are constructed to be that instrument to turn sound wave into light color and light color to sound wave.
What I am interested in is exploring the possibilities of unlocking this capacity in us. When we can move between being closed, self-absorbed systems and open, inclusive systems, then perhaps we will be able to heal ourselves and others through our capacities to manipulate light and sound. A new age, indeed.
I began thinking about this after studying the work and life of John Coltrane. I believe John Coltrane was on the verge of allowing this to take place in himself, and that his retreat into heroin was a symptom of his fear of the consequences of breaking through in this way. Clearly, he understood something critical about sound, consciousness, and redefining/ rethinking human capacity.
I look forward to reading more.

Hi – I see some old friends here…and hopefully new ones.
First to Monifa,
Fabulous response….yes! It is about discovering the ‘new’ imaginal world and how to create with and respond to it. Mr. Coltrane was such an extraordinary example of this….burning up the edges to….?
And for John Reid whom I have yet to meet, I would answer that as an artist (musician) I use the light/sound correspondances to hear processes in the natural world which occur on micro or macro levels too unavailable, either because I can’t actually hear them, or because they are first electromagnetic. I’m looking for proportions that are exciting, beautiful and instructive. If there is an octave in light, no matter what the pitches, then that’s useful as a concept (the original mystery!) and as a sound that can be heard and reproduced. A collection of electromagnetic frequencies mapped to corresponding sound is full of information about that original “world” and finding harmony within it. Because I don’t deal directly with ‘healing,’ the exact pitches are not as important to me as the music. What counts is the collection, and relationships within them. For instance, if a collection of light frequencies abounds in perfect fifths or phi ratios, then by god something amazing is going on. (The elements hydrogen and helium are related by a P4th or P5th through Larmor frequencies from their nuclei). If the collection is a tight microtonal cluster, then that communicates another concept, etc. The artist, in the end, gets to choose which sounds to play with, and after almost 20 years of doing this I see absolutely a most beautiful, sentient matrix of creation.
Lastly I love the Aramaic version of the word SHEM: usually translated as “name,” in a sacred setting it also means “Name, light, sound, and atmosphere.” The Aramaic way (Middle Eastern in general) is that things usually have more than one meaning at the same time. We often have to struggle with our Greek heritage of discretion, and would do well to also remember this holistic, sacred approach.

The comments so far have focused on an analytical approach to sound. But what about the metaphysical approach? In the original posting Jonathan stated that one way of looking at sound is that it is slowed down light.What if we asume that God is Light and go back to Genesis: And God said ” Let there be Light”. God SAID. The method of the creation of light was sound, THE WORD. But this created light on a particular plane of experience which is generally asumed to be the physical visual plane, that is ,physical light was created as a thing out of sound. This would imply that the plane of physical things has a similar but different vibration to the vibration which created it. The denser the object the slower the vibration.Therefore physical light is slow sound –The Word–which originated out of slowed down”God light”– and physical sound slows even more to vibrate at the rate of tangible physical objects. This would also agree with physical creation comming out of the Sacred Sound of Sanscrit seed sylables.
This is a multidimensional approach to light and sound in which each creates the other at a different vibratory level. God –light slows down to sound. Sound is then the “light” which slows down to create physical light.

Hi Jonathan, et. alia.
Thanks for sending your blog around, Jonathan. Looking into it for the first time just now, I am struck by a certain similaraity between the technical discussion of the Sound/Light connection with other discussions I have noted and been a party to.
There are always those who, for very legitimate reasons I’m sure, want to find the exact Newtonian cause and effect relationship between the means and ends of various practices. This is what I take from the conversation here mostly between John and Barbara.
In a sense, this is the same sort of discussion that takes place in certain circles in the field with which I am most familiar, astrology. There are those who look for something that is the measurable carrier of the planetary and Zodiacal elements and the effect that they seem to show in lives. The same may be said for the field of healing. Some people will always want to know how the healing worked, and consequently they search in the realm of quantifiable material measurement for the answers.
While the technical details of the Sound/Light connection are no doubt enlightening, for those who have some basic grasp of the discussion, I cannot say that I am one who does. Most of it is way over my head, but interesting nevertheless.
Because of my astrological interest in the Harmonic Concordance and the three specific conscious focused intents of it, I am much more interested in a discussion of the question that Gary posed in regards to Intent and focused Consciousness: “…Is the Intent a regular, unbroken, sinusoidal flow — or is it dominated by intellect, egotism, emotions, etc?”
Specifically, I am interested is tapping into anything that can enhance and amplify those three intents, in particular at this time in mankind’s sojourn in this realm. The idea that sound healing could encourage the actualization of those intents is what brought you and me together in the first place.
The Concordance “Frequency” is, till to this day, still reverberating. Next month will mark the 5th Anniversary of that Concordance Grand Sextile Total Lunar Eclipse moment. The chart for that anniversary date suggests that it will be a very powerful day to recall the conscious intents of that moment…which in turn brings me here.

Concerning a table of the angles of nutritive elements in the periodic table, I know of no such chart but the concept is fascinating.
The underlying principles of sound healing have not been identified, despite the fact that ultrasound, as a therapeutic modality, has been used in clinical settings since the 1950’s. I sense that the mechanism will be connected with sound’s ability to create form in microscopic realms, possibly permitting challenged cells to access nutrients where, prior to the sound, the ion channel ‘doors’ were closed. Cells can exist in a sleep-like state, alive but not fully functional. Sound, it appears, when properly applied, can act like a magic wand, awakening the cell from its slumbers and returning it to normal function. The question is, how? Let’s have a phone conversation. Hello Susan Alexjander,
I look forward to the day we meet. Your approach to the natural world in which you search for “proportions that are exciting, beautiful and instructive” is very much part of my life’s work. My colleagues and I are using cymatics to study the frequencies of vibration that underpin creation: music, not in the audible sense but in the ratios and proportions inherent within the architecture of sounds when made visible. The song of Mother Earth, a whale, a dolphin, a nightingale, a cricket or the sounds of the planets, as monitored by the Voyager spacecraft, all exhibit great beauty.
In fact, every sound in nature contains beauty, even sounds that would not generally be considered beautiful to the ear. And when we realise that all the beautiful sounds of nature have an electromagnetic component, the same beauty that we observe cymatically is radiating away from the source of the sound, carrying its beauty into the Universe as modulated infra-red light.
If we sing to a star, our song will reach that star, someday.

Step up and stepdown transformers between sound and light have been used for millenia…
Transmission by frequency requires this technology.
There are many versions of this this technology…
from Sumeria and Egyptians to the Toltecs and Pheonicians, more recently, including NASA, and the Military.
( Lasers, Masers Weapons, Pulse Guns, Etheric Trigger Devices are all based on these very same principles.)
The Humble Solar Cell can give you a select frequency of energy translated to cyclic pulses@ cycles per second…
The process already exists in nature where Sunlight is synthesized to nutrients particularly Sunflowers and Plankton ( also a frequency)…
The Humble Firefly and the Glowworm exhibit a resonant frequency to produce light (and colour) in much the same way.
The corrolation of Colours are indeed clinically proven to be uniform between several dfferent persons in study undertaken about the chemical Triptomine DMT where an induced frequency or note does indeed have a corrosponding colour- these have been documented already.
The real question is how the information and knowledge is to be protected and used for the greater good…Experimentation and Weapons without the application of Spiritual Law is forbidden in many Cultures…
Much of this information has been protected for Centuries by Shaman, Holy Men, Sages, and Traditional Medicine Men.
Before we get too carried away with the Science and Maths and Wow factor… just spare a moment to realise the responsibility and consequences and results of this “research/discussion Blog”…

Sound and Light/Colour are Different Forms of Energy
Different colours have been assigned to different notes, with devices like light organs.
No one has been able to take one sound frequency and increase it forty octaves without putting it into computers that change its sound wave.
As the frequency increases the sound will enter a different energetic state. Sound would turn into many different types of energy such as heat before it became light.
Assigning specific colours to specific tones may be an oversimplification of a process we do not yet understand. We can link any colour to any frequency.
This is my experience in workshops. Different people see the same note as different colours.

I am not a educated person – no special credits or diplomas. I do not plan on doing a research as such on Sound & Light. I am interested, however.
I am coming from a Spiritual aspect of my Being to become aware of both Sound & Light. In my Spiritual Journey of some 27 years – I have come to know my self similar to Socrates quoto of “Know Thy Self.” All our answers are contained within us – our Creator has given us many gifts and tools. We need to discover or re-discover just what we have.
For me ( unproven fact) I associate Sound with my body and Soul, and Light with my Spirit. Both Soul and Spirit maybe considered one and the same, however I think and know they are vastly different. My new paradigm is Light and Sound – a new source and connection for Soul and Spirit. As I mentioned before – I do not wish to establish the connection, I just know there is a connection. So be it.
P.S. I like to follow Einsteins theroy use your imagination – it is more important than knowledge.

John Stuart Reid is, of course, absolutely correct: Sound IS electro-magnetic. In the body phonon chains prdouce EM resonances and even manifest bioluminescence. The variable “light” frequencies and “colors” of such radiations are virtualy impossible to categorize — as acoustic wave form, timbre, amplitude, tissue interface, et al affect the propagation and secondary, tertiary outcomes.
If we view the person as a multi-dimensional entity, that is, physical/material, mental/psychic, and spirit/Light being — 3rd, 4th, and 5th-dimensional beings, respectively, then we understand that each “per-sona-lity” responds differently and interactively with all others.
For example, certain Angstrom counts of “red” in topical applications may stimulate, perhaps heat, the skin tissues. (In fact, all sound is “thermal” energy.)
Similarly, on the “base chakra” that same color may activate the “kundalini” or “tantric” energies originating in that plexus, which obviously link with the spinal column, the meridians, the overall serum flow and electrical force of the whole body vibratory system (WBV).
On the psychic level red may stimulate the libido, the passions, prdouce strong emotions, strengthen one’s drives and endurance, etc. Contrarily, red may also evoke anger, irritability, create resistance, confusion, et al.
In addition, there are “basic” relationships of sound with the same tripartite personalities and overall color functions.
For example, all life, all growth, begins with the “binary” pulsation of “2.” This ebb and flow, stasis principle, may be described as Yin/Yang, male/female, negative/positive, darkness/light, systole/diastole, etc., and is well exemplified in cell division, the fundament of energetic, Synergetic, sacred geometric formation, directly applicable to biological processes.
The “binary” pulse is the octave, and mathematically a 2-pulsation. Two pulses per second is the frequency “C.” In octave growth 2 becomes 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, etc. Hz.

“2″ is the “base-pulse” fundamental. Its “root” is “1.”
This binary frequency, just like the color red, also stimulates the “base chakra”; thus, we have a fundamental correspondence between light/color and acoustical wave front propagation. The frequencies, of both color and light, affect the body, mind, and spirit in similar myriad ways. (Note that we may also “pulse” the red light, say at 2 Hz.)
Moreover, as stated, all frequencies are essentially “binary” in that they are simply “octaves” of lower, base-pulse-tone, fundamentals. This includes light frequencies which may be categorized as octave ranges of tone/hue/saturation. Such relationships, scientific and aesthetic, synaesthetic and mystical, are propadeutic “keys” I use in my R&D re: sound and color therapies, and as discussed in my recent book, SONA: Healing with Wave Front BIOresonance.
Re: Ultrasound. Wrong range, harmful, antiquated. The lower pulse-tones are the healing tones. High frequencies destroy (Clark).
Re: Angles. All wave front angulation begins with 60-degree mesnuration (Fuller).
Re: Astrology. This is from the ancient Enochian/Essene/Therapeutic schools, e.g., where Pythagroas studied (Mt. Carmel with the Essaei prophets, Alexandria with the Theravedas and Therapeutiic Essenes, with Zalmoxes and the Thracian schools/Chaldean). The cosmic, solar, terrestrial frequencies are all governed by the same universal principles…thus, astrology is only valid within that scientific definition, which is absolutely real.
The greater science is that of Photo-Syntonics wherein we use frequencies of light, color, and sound directly in the eyes (and nervous system/meridians/fields, thus contacting all parts of the tripartite entity — and very much directly with the pineal and pituitary, all endocrines, higher fields, ad infinitum.
Consciously, sound and light are wave fronts — as is all consciousness in universe. The frequencies create an Image. Within that Image are the hidden motion between the nodes, the Word. Therefore, Intent, functioning as guided imagery, seeks to experience the Word emanating from the Image. This is the sacred art and science.

As with many things, reality is relative.
All things have a relationship to one another and they are experienced because of their relationship to one another.
Sound exists because of its relationship to silence,
Light exists because of its relationship to darkness.
We experience most of our reality in a duality and we are using our minds to compare one thing against another.
We live in a reality of thingness, which has its opposite in no-thingness or the void.
The void has its own relative reality issues, mainly that it is related to all of reality or manifistation.
As with most relatives it is fun to visit from time to time, but it is also nice to come home,

I am enormously grateful for this discussion. Onde of my particular interests in sound (and look forward to the day when I can explore this in depth) is the ways in which it was once used purification, eg of various forms of pollution. Its my conviction that it can be applied to purify polluted bodies of water, for example.
I am informed by our belief as indigenous people (I am Maori and Scot myself) that the existence was created through sound – sung into being..
The discussion here has implications in that direction and I am moved and inspired by it all. Yes, this has to do with light, and with proportions, and also with the fact that the very cells of our bodies communicate through sound. And yes, signing back to the stars!

I heard somewhere that the Maories consider the ocean a giant crystal. Have you heard this?

I have been practising & teaching Yoga for 16 years & I am also a Jazz singer & Mandala artist. I have been trying to combine sound & colour over many years of teaching & practising, & I have realise I have been doing it all intuitively. I believe without any scientific knowledge, that light & sound do work together in healing. Over the last few years I use light & colour in the meditation part of my Yoga class. It is very powerful & I believe like you do, it needs to become a part of all of us with the whole universe, as “one”. I have not long realised I can create harmonics with my voice & I continue to learn & explore light & sound. I will keep in touch

Thank you Jonathan for the invitation to be here with the inner workings of the Temples of Sound and Light.
I have read all posts and look forward to continuing staying in touch here though many of the technical talk is over my head…I feel I am mingling with the Masters!
My experience of sound and light as one is as essence through a multidimensional experience around the time of Harmonic Convergence. One day, my world, in a moment’s flash became a doorway of fragmented prismatic brilliant multicolored shards which brought my body to the ground and my spirit in flight.
My consciousness returned when I landed on a cliff somewhere in an atmosphere filled with a sharp, crisp, clear, crystalline sounding of rainstix and crystal chimes. The light surrounding me was equal to the light that filled me. My Being was now a tall, willowy light Being with similar features to human, but just spirit and light housed inside a very thin casing.
Another Being joined me and there began transfer of communication through telepathic means travelling on music notes. It was exquisite! I became aware of a puebloan village below us with many other Beings present. I began to hear their minds as music – blended perfectly with the atmosphere yet distinct as coming from individuals. chimes, rainstix and light laughter carried through in sweet melodic waves that wrapped my entire Being in incredible joy, light and love!
20 years later, I continue to get sporadic “tune-ups” from this soundlight source through prismatic doorway that take up my vision for 10-20 minutes leaving the world much sharper and crisper afterwards.
This imprint is in me deeply…it is always there is a sense though I have not been able to do anything about expanding it or anything of my will to connect. This is my sacred mystery to unravel – this key of sound and light together as one as I have experienced it.
I live steeeped in the quartz crystalline energies where the EarthMother houses the crystals. My favorite sound instruments are C note tibetan bowl and B note crystal bowl – heaven on earth.
Perhaps one day I will have advancements that I can speak of here.

Dear Friends:
The response to the current blog topic is remarkable and truly appreciated. There are so many varied approaches to this subject of the relationship between sound and light..
I’d like to suggest that in addition to all the other ideas that have thus far manifested in this blog, with regard to sound, there is also the aspect of harmonics. Thus, if we do have a one to one relationship between a particular sonic frequency and its light counterpart, we still need to take into consideration the harmonics that are being generated by the particular instrument that is sounding the fundamental frequency. Different harmonics, (called “formants”) are most prominent in different instruments (which give them their timbre or tone color).
If there were truly a one to one relationship between sound and light (as an example, an “A” note vibrating at 440 Hz.) and that note was known to correlate to a specific color, depending upon which instrument were playing that “A” note, the different instruments that hit this note would all create different colors depending upon the most prominent harmonics that manifested. This is because the different harmonics would also generate different colors. Much more could be written about this, but I simply wanted to bring up the importance of harmonics with regard to the relationship of sound and light. I would like to open our discussion to include this.
And one last thought—many years ago, I had the experience of creating a sound in an ancient Mayan temple in Palenque, Mexico during the Harmonic Convergence and having light emerge as a result of this. (This is discussed in greater detail in HEALING SOUNDS as well as SHIFTING FREQUENCIES). I believe the light that was created was a result of my producing a sound with strong harmonics that resonated not only the room, but also my brain and higher chakras. . It was an amazing phenomenon. I’d just like to relate that the light that produced was not a colored light. What occurred was that the room I was sounding in became slightly illuminated after the sound. I was with a number of other people. Before the sound, we had been in total darkness and after the sound was created, the luminosity was enough so that those in the room could just minimally see each other. Previously, all we could perceive was total darkness. What happened? What was it that occurred?
From my perspective, it was not necessarily the occurrence of sound turning into light, but rather the experience of sound creating light. There is a difference. Perhaps, the sound stimulated my pineal gland and that gland created luminosity through the various neuro-chemicals in my brain—such as melatonin and that activity actually generated a visible light. That’s just one thought. There are many different possible explanations for this experience. Perhaps this might also be included in the discussion.

Nicely nicely said, Jonathan, and very thought provoking. It seems to me that resonance is also an ingredient, here. I think of resonance as vibrations in one entitity caused by cyclic intentional energy from another. The most resonance occurs at the fundamental-to-fundamental level. Next is the octave, next the fifth, and so on up the harmonic sequence. Resonance also occurs at multiple harmonics simultaneously.
If you believe that resonance occurs harmonically, then resonance can occur at thirty or more octaves. This would mean that the creation of sound at an audible frequency could excite atoms at frequencies 30 or more octaves higher, and so create light.
This is casual science, I know, but I think that’s what happened in the Mayan temple where you were. Your intent and practice, and the intent of those with you, were also powerful contributing factors.

As with many things we are again discussing our experience in the relativity of consciousness.
You are looking at things as a duality or as a trinity of consciouness.
Are we talking of sound as the vibration of energy that we can hear or sound as the vibration of consciousnes that we can feel emotionally? It is necssary to come to a conscensus of the parameters of the reality we are talking about in order to to come up with a relative answer.
We can look at this duality of “sound and harmonics” intellectually and scientifically as something that is seperate from ourselves or we can look at it metaphysically as different aspects of ourselves.
Metaphysically as we tone or sing ourselves we gradually come into phase with other aspects of our own light/sound body that have remained hidden to our everyday experience and understanding.
The thing is that the human mind thinks linearly and in terms of duality. It would be helpful to train it to think spherically and think of itself as existing in more than one dimension and as being in more than one life/light form of existence at the same time.
It becomes a sort of a controlled schizophrenia.
The mind is trying to understand where it ends and the Divine begins. In the reality of the one, or you could call it enlightenment, there is no separation between you and God. You are already one with the Divine body, You have simply forgotten that you are God,
now that’s a nice relative.

I agree, we are God. I like your reference to spherical thinking too. All energy radiates spherically and we are pure beings of pure energy. Are we multidimensional beings? From one part of God to another that’s a BIG question, Jim. I usually need to be significantly detached from my left brain by ingesting some good whisky before my mind can float sufficiently freely to contemplate such matters. Or it sometimes happens when I’m waking up from a deep sleep, which is a healthier alternative.
In response to Jonathan, I conducted acoustics research in the Great Pyramid in 1996 and 1997. One of the experiments involved exciting the quartz-rich granite sarcophagus. The cymatic results included what appeared to be ‘hieroglyphs’ that appeared in the sand I had sprinkled on the membrane, stretched over the open top of the sarcophagus. The underlying mechanism, I concluded, was connected with electric charge patterns, stored in the quartz. The hieroglyphs, I believe, are naturally occurring patterns of electric charge, locked in the granite. In innocently released the patterns with a sonic key. I got quite a pleasant surprise
I mention this because quartz can give off more than electric charge when acoustically excited. Without getting overly technical, it has also been shown to give off visible light under laboratory conditions. I also know of reports of people seeing light inside granite ‘cisterns’ on Dartmoor, England, on dark nights, as the granite is pummled by the fierce winds. I wonder what type of stone you were surrounded by, Jonathan, when you saw the light? Was it quartz-bearing, such as sandstone?

Singing to crystals is quite a fun experience. I started doing it about 35 years ago. Once you get into phase with them they have a very nice high tinkling sound. Sort of the same sound a snowflake makes when it descends to earth through the atmosphere. I have found that after singing to the crystal, it helps to get into their breath pulse in order to have a more intimate personal experience, It works great with people also.

My Simple View
Similar to Consciousness /Thought and Energy/Intent being inextricably combined and thus creating the nature of reality, so, I feel Sound and Light are inextricably combined. A few years back, while studying Keylontic Science, it was brought out that Sound emits Light and Light emits Sound. Some of the posts here have touched on this very thought.
That teaching also brought out that sound was vibration and light was frequency. Furthermore, as one raises one’s frequency one’s vibration goes down. For me, a truly clarifying moment. While the mainstream would continually speak of raising one’s vibration to seek enlightenment Keylontic Science taught the opposite.
This new thought/idea resonated/computed with me completely. As one has a higher vibration the density increases. The ultimate example here would be a pathological criminal, a highly dense individual with very little Light/Connectedness. One the other hand a person Highly Spiritual would also be one of High Frequency (Light) and very little density. Perhaps the term Lighten Up may have even more meaning given these considerations.
The concept of Ascension may further add to the understanding since raising one’s frequency is key in Ascension. By de-materializing the human body, lowering ’sound’ vibration and increasing ‘light’ frequency one may, albeit theoretically, achieve such a state. Increasing light frequency is easily done through meditation (lowering resistance) and/or by seeing the good/God in ALL, opening the pathway to Higher Self/Inner Being thus reconnecting with that wiser, older, greater Non-Physical Part….Who we really are!
When such a happening occurs, Direct Cognition and Absolute Knowing abound!

Jim I appreciate your comments about crystals and song that reach deep into my world as I find the crystals have definite response to chanting, toning, humming, singing. I also find they enjoy gathering in choral groups!
I find it is happening that the internal structure of crystals change…I am seeing more rainbows and whispy angelic figures forming in some of the ones I work with. I believe they respond to joyful resonance. So amongst the sound, light, harmonics and resonance – it appears emotion does play into the allignment response – responding to “everythng has a spirit” which the Indigenous Peoples have always known. I feel strongly the spirit in the crystals wants only to be acknowledged and to serve in Beauty – which is resonance of love, light and Music of the Spheres – CREATION.
This is how I see Jonathans sharing in the pyramid – the grounded essense of Sound and inner light that effected the surroundings to respond by lighting up as well.
Retiring recently to a pure and natural area, I have been finding great joy in the discovery of the level of response from nature that reaches out to co-exist when one tenderly approaches with respectful, acknowledging ways of Being…the natural elements are available for cooperative relationship! For instance, the sound of 100s of cicadas singing at dusk becomes the shamans rattle inviting one deeper into the mystery that is all around Sound…

I have found that the crystals love sound and the more you get into their breath pulse the more they change. If you expect them to appear as crystaline forms, they appear internally as such when you get into their consciousness. If you let your preconcieved ideas go; such as to how crystaline structure should look and behave in a 3ed dimensional wave function, they will mutate and turn into a life/light body of both sound and color. If you have ever seen the northern lights, their internal structure looks a lot like that, as well as with the high tinkeling that you also hear with the northern lights. Also external size has little relavence as to the size they appear on the inside. I have found this to be true with people also.

To get back to our original premise of the relationship between sound and light, I feel that it is necessary to look at a basic premise in physics.
Are sound and light a particle or a wave or both?
To a certain extent the relationships of sound and light are leaning towards a unified field theory of consciousness.
You could express what we experience on the earth plane mathematically
with the equation 0 +1 = 2.
To further explain the equation you could represent the total unmanifested consciousness as the number 0 and then when it manifests its consciousness, that could be represented as the number 1, and then in order to understand creation, consciousness moves into the observer mode or duality represented as number 2.
You could look at this as the physics of consciousness.
Here we are at a dual point in consciousness, or at the 2 point, trying to figure out where the starting point or 1 point came from. In order to do that it is necessary to go back into the 0 point from which point you can determine if reality is a wave or a particle or both. The 0 point could also be interpreted as enlightenment or merging your consciousness with Love or going back to the Divine. You never really left this 0 point, you just pretend to be seperate. In fact it is really not a point at all. Maybe it is a wave. A God Wave.
Words get a little clunky when trying to explain things in linear terms. But to quote a line from a song by the Beegees,
“ It’s only words and words are all I have to take your heart away”

Sound is the passing on of periodic data via collissions between atoms and molecules. At all audible frequencies within this phenomena create bubbles of sound that expand at the speed of sound natural to the density of the medium. Bottom line: Sound waves do not exist. The term ’sound wave’ is, therefore, very misleading.
Light also travels spherically, not as waves. Light is an entirely magnetic phenomenon, it is in fact modulated magnetism, a bubble of pure energy that expands at the speed of light. As it expands its leading edge vibrates in and out, minutely, like a leaf trembling in the wind, at whatever frequencies of light were created by the source. So the terms ‘Light Wave,’ ‘Radio Wave’ and ‘Electromagnetic Wave’ are all very misleading.
In my view the wave-particle argument only exists because of misinterpretation of data from the double slit experiment and other physics experiments. If one looks at the data with the idea that light is a wave then one will naturally draw wrong conclusions. Our filters work to deceive us. What I try to do is remove my blinders and open to new ideas and new possibilities. I’m working hard to cast my blinders aside. Some of the ideas put forward in this blog have challenged me in that regard and I’m grateful to all the contributors for refreshing my mind.

To a certain extent I agree with you. I think it depends on your point of view relatively speaking. As far as visible light, I think that Einstein proved, or rather predicted and it was later proved, that light is affected by gravitational fields. I think we may be talking about two different kinds of light here. Or at least that is what our filters are telling us. As far as personal experience goes I have noticed that as you ascend from zip code reality through the planes of light that the luminosity changes depending on what thickness of reality you may be interfacing with. I have also noticed that when you get into the consciousness of a light being that the information is passed on by what I call the magnetization of consciousness. You first get into phase with the being and then you breathe the being into yourself and become one with the being and any information that may be transferred by two or more of you, if you happen to be talking to a group is done so by the magnetization of consciousness.
I have also noticed that humans are also able to generate light. Similar to the experience that Jonathan related. About 10 years ago, after Sarah Benson and I gave a conference in North Carolina, we went to a cave in the south western part of Virginia near Blacksburg. We crawled and hiked with a few other friends about 1/8 of a mile underground through caverns and into a domed chamber. The Cave had wonderful harmonics. We then formed a circle and sang in absolute darkness for about 3 hours. Near the later part of the singing you could see the other people lightly and you could see the stars up above even though we were about 1/8 mile underground. It was truly an interesting experience.
I am sure that the light of the inner planes and the light of zip code reality are interconnected but I have not yet been able to differentiate where one stops and the other begins. It probably doesn’t matter unless you happen to be traveling on an inter-dimensional wave function. There is probably a transition point where light as we understand it goes through a metamorphosis and changes form, like ice turning into water, and goes from hard light to soft light and then back into no light at all which is the void or the receptor/creator of all light. I think it is all relative, lightly speaking.

I think this has already been said, but I’ll say it again anyway: The answer to Jonathan’s question as to whether sound and light are the same depends on your frame of reference. If your frame of reference is the traditional physical sciences, sound and light are very different — magnetic vs. acoustic; particle vs. wave; eyes vs. ears; etc.
If you’re thinking harmonically or resonantly, sound and light have powerful similarities due to their shared properties of harmonics and resonance
If your frame of reference is centered around energy and intention, then light and sound are almost the same thing: energetic, cyclic carriers of intention.
So it seems to me that the similarities between sound and light depends on our frame of reference, which, in turn, rests on our intention.

I was wondering?
Is there hard light and soft light?
If we percieve ourselves as light beings in a 3ed dimensional wave funcion could we consider our bodies as hard light?
As we perceive light is there a difference say for instance in the color orange created by the heat of a nova in the sun as compared to the orange of a pumpkin or the color orange in an aura?
Does light in and of itself have a temperature?
What about light that is radiated from the body? Is it a hard or soft light that is going through a metamorphosis by mutating and interacting with a life light form (our bodies) in a 3ed dimensional wave function or is the light just melting and diffusing after having been creaed by the body?
Just curious and thought I would ask your opinions.

In response to Jim Atwell’s latest, I have a few thoughts to offer:
Light (or any frequency of electromagnetic radiation) has energy/intensity measured in electron volts but light has no temperature. Only a body with mass can have temperature and light has no mass. We sense the temperature of the sun because the atoms in our body interact with the sun’s light, absorbing it and increasing their energy states, (their rate and excursion of vibration in space) thus increasing their ‘temperature.’
Thus, our light body would be without temperature and would be spherical in form, not a ‘wave function’ as you have suggested. Let’s not confuse wave functions, which are human-made mathematical constructs, with the space form of pure energy, which is spherical and God made.
Orbs are an example of the spherical nature of energy and they appear to possess consciousness since they manifest upon request. Perhaps the ‘orbs’ imaged by digital cameras are the light bodies of souls that have passed? I have seen a digital photograph of an orb that had a beautiful ‘cymatic’ surface structure and it cast a shadow on a wall from the flash of the camera. This would suggest that the orbs can absorb light energy. If we assume that the orb is made of pure energy/light then can it absorb energy? If an orb continued to absorb energy then eventually it would become visible in daylight. Have any readers of this blog seen an orb in daylight?
Orbs always appear to be white in colour–all colors and frequencies blended together–whereas human auras come in many different colours and the colour changes with emotional state, as shown by Harry Oldfiled’s PIP photography. When we are ‘alive’ it is as if our energy state is highly variable whereas perhaps when we pass we become whole once more, pure white light and pure love.

I think some of our thinking is a matter of semantics.
I personally do not see a separation between God and Man. I feel that they are one and the same. All be it, they may be a bit rough and a work in progress. I feel that man/women and all consciousness that exists on earth and in this 3ed dimensional galaxy are trying to become aware of their true nature whether they are humans or extraterrestrials.
I feel that all energy patterns have the capacity to become enlightened and merge back with their source.
I feel that the core belief system of most individuals may be that they have to die in order to become one with the Divine, I personally do not.
To quote a Sufi phrase “die before death and live now”. Once you move from the belief of what you think you are, you can become what you really are.
I think that most of these intellectual constructs of the mind are used to better help the Divine understand itself in this thickness of reality. The Divine is trying to see itself in another itself, whether it be in the wonder of a star or the laughter of a child.
I feel that all this chit chat that we are doing is trying to help us better understand our Divine nature as it exists in this thickness of reality. The more conscious we become of who we are and what we are made of, the easier it will be to function in this thickness of reality as Divine beings.
Eternity is a long time and God/Love isn’t going anywhere. We might as well enjoy the game and learn about our true nature as it exists in this time contineuum.
As for myself I don’t believe in time, I think it is an artificial construct of the mind, but that is a different story.

Thanks for those wonderful thoughts, Jim. I realise that this discussion has moved us away from the original topic but your point of view is fascinating. Here I am saying that mathematics is a human-made construct, a way of describing what we observe, when in fact mathematics is God-made since we are God, or at least an aspect of God.
If humans ever come to truly understand the nature of the Universe my guess is we will no longer need the math. We will just see the Universe and know it. For example, we don’t need math to understand that a flower is beautiful. It just is.

It is always fun to have a lively discussion.
We all have our own points of view. And that is what they are (points) of view. We each see the Divine from our own (point) of creation. Some of us see it vertically and some see it horizontally. You can also see it both ways.
It is always fun to have a confrontation to a fixed belief system. Most realitys are created by a mutually agreed upon belief system anyway. The best way to get past it is to have an Ah Ha moment and say; yes I believed that way once and now that I have seen it from a different point of view, I choose to believe this way now.
Once you have seen things from another (point) of view you have the option of believing one way or another. You have a choice based on your personal experience. You can always go back to your old way of thinking. Or you can deny that you ever had the Aa Ha moment and go back to sleep and perhaps to dream.
Personally I enjoy playing with Godness. I try to see him/her in all forms of consciousness. I sort of look at this reality as the spectralization of consciousness of the Divine and we are playing in a Rainbow of Love. Jump in the water is fine.

Although the word ‘frequency’ is used for both sound and light, it
may be misleading our thinking. A pound of feathers is not related
to a pound of gold, nor is a cup of hot coffee related to a cup of
flour, even we though can stretch for some relationship if we try.
Furthermore, if one looks closely at light, as a wave, the
visualization of electric and magnetic components smoothly
propagating as orthogonal sine waves was made up years ago for
simplifying the equations. The word ‘magnetic’ comes from the
name of the place where lodestones were found in ancient Greece. It
has no intrinsic meaning, that is, no connection with anything
physical. Its continured us, as if it were a real ‘thing’ has, and still,
confuses the thinking of many. It’s time to discard the term
‘magnetism’ and replace with tone that describes the physical
structure of matter, as it is now thought to be. Lodestones were
formed by some electrons in iron ore spin-aligning with the great
spin of Earth.
It was found centuries later that electrons moving in a wire created
a spin force around the wire, also an effect like that observed in iron
ore that has been soaked in Earth’s spin force. This leads to the
inference that electrons moving in wires (current) may be spin-
aligned.
But electrons are names made up (also from Greek). No one has
ever seen an electron. They are NOT little spinning round balls with
a covering of electric charge. The property which was called
electricity was found to appear in discrete amounts. These ‘chunks’
were called ‘electrons’ and were assumed to be things, since things
or nouns fit in our grammar. Later when those ‘things’ called
electrons were found to behave in some experiments like waves it
baffled many people (and still does!) For how can a thing be a wave?
Physics is a net of words strung together following the rules of
grammar, which are akin to the rules of logic as people using the
western and European languages have developed them. The made
up rules of grammar think for most people unless they are very
careful and critics to think about what is structurally, rather than
grammatically.
So what is to be done to clarify thinking about the relationship, if
there is one, between sound and light?
What’s going on? Eyes are for seeing light, ears for sound, and some
cells of the body sense both energy impingements. People often say
sound waves are ‘like water waves’. But are they really? Or is this
just a visual picture? Are they sinusoidal in shape? Are light waves
sinusoidal or is that a handy model requiring less mental energy to
comprehend? What’s happening compared with our verbal models
of what’s happening?
I don’t have the tools or knowledge to find out.
Consider this from another angle. What about the psycho
physiological effects of sound versus light?
The patterns of light as in ‘artistic’ drawings, and the patterns of
sounds as in music. Or the learned meanings of sound as in words,
or light as in written words or symbols.
Humans have very sensitive receptors. We can almost hear
individual molecules and almost see individual wavetrains called
photons. Frank Brown, a biologist who helped found Woods Hole
Oceanographic Institute on Cape Cod, believed every cell of the
body could detect variations in Earth’s magnetic field.
And then there are the psychological meanings and interpretation…
One way out of this complex situation is to use applied kinesiology
or muscle testing to evaluate the effect on a human of a particular
sound or light pulse or musical pattern or design.
Over the years I have found this to be accurate and have recently
designed an electronic muscle tester which is slightly more accurate
and can be used for self testing (See http://www.buryl.com). So a
particular musical pattern that is healing, or a particular light color
or mixture of colors or designs, can be determined.
Theories are linguistic or mathematical mode.

Hi,
This week, there has been a lot of hoopla around a predicted tangible, viewable 1st contact that did not happen. From the beginning of this drama, I felt this was all a matter of heart resonance..a connecting to and bringing to awareness the bigger drama that many are involved in and the joyful vow of service for the good of All that many of us are working in ways we do not totally understand! Those who carry an inner light of cosmic service have either been affirmed once again or made aware for the first time. That is my feeling and opinion. Has anyone else felt a higher light resonance bombarding earth since the full moon 10/14? I have felt the “presence” of something communicating to the heart of humanity and heard the words “LoveLight Evolution!” I would love to hear some responses…because I feel so often a change in the collective light mass or what the cosmos is sending our way..and some of you have the ability to talk the physics of what I feel and wonder if you base your research on personal feelings or is intellectual quest more the motivation?

I relate often through storytelling and share today a few ways that I have been inspired to experiment with c note crystal bowl as a healing instrument.
~ Caretaking a woman with MS, I brought the c bowl over as she was open to the experience. As the toning/bowling was happening….2 rooms away her elderly german shepard with paralyzed hind legs dragged himself (I start to cry again thinking of this) across the wooded floors following the sound to lay his head on my lap staring at me listening so peacefully….so tender….he passed over 2 days later…..the owners were in pain deciding whether or not to put their beloved pet down…and he passed over sweetly….sigh…
~ Autism. Met a woman with a severaly autistic son while playing at an art gallery opening. She invited me and the bowl to her house to experiment. Her son was quite severe though he had his repetitious games he played that brought him peace till he had an upset time..which was predictable according to mom. So, we had a tea party and waited, when he started to rock back and forth….I started to play (cnote) and after 10 minutes he stopped rocking back and forth and looked up – and blissed out totally…laughing and laughing. Mom was crying as her son was laughing. Well, we closed softly and he continued to be blissed. Upon speaking with her the next day, he had become very agitated later in the day…we do not know if the vibration and sound was responsible for the agitation that followed….mom grew scared, I understand, and we did not attempt another session….she has a fragile world she tends to….
It was my feeling though that her son wanted “more” of the resonance.
~ Wolf refuge healing of traumatized wolves. Again c note – earth mother…2 wolves in particular at a refuge I worked at had been abused and abandoned. They were very mistrusting of humans. Several times produced the same results….after 1/2 hour of playing the bowl…..their constant pacing stopped….both wolves jumped on top of their house rooftops.- hung their paws over the edge – closed their eyes and smiled (yes, really!) The refuge owners were stunned and overyoyed as they wre able to go into their pen and spend time without all the upset and frantic energy as long as I continued to play…awesome!!!! As soon as the playing stopped…the magic was over – the wolves jumped off their roof and once again re-entered their space of constant agitation and fear.
Such are some of the lovely times of this sound lightworker. …

Let me preface by saying I haven’t read all the blog postings here, but I just want to add some channeled info on this topic. The Ascended Masters teach that sound is synonomous to color. Let me also add that they refer to two different kinds of “light.” The light that we experience in the physical is reflected light broken prismatically into color through the varying frequencies of vibration. The Direct Light is the pure brilliant white Light of God Consciousness. When the Masters say sound and color are synonomous they are not, of course, referring to the Direct Light but to that of our experience in the physical realm of vibrations.
As far as color and sound being synonomous they say that refers to what our physical senses perceive and what our technical devices can measure. They remind us to keep in mind that all we experience is vibrating at frequencies including the machines we measure things with. That is to say the normal perception of color that is someone wearing a red shirt or a green shirt and the color of the chakras are not one and the same thing. The Kirlean photography that captures the colors of the chakras portrayed in the auric field is the science of “modularization.” In other words they are explaining that within the color red there are modular frequency levels. What the Masters refer to is that the color red vibrates at varying frequencies. The red vibration of a shirt is not the same vibration as the red of the base chakra. So, the increase in frequency will affect the varying levels of consciousness within a specific color in the spectrum. In terms of healing applications putting one’s attention on the chakra vibration of the color is to bring that chakra into “attunement” and balance and harmoney within the chakra rainbow system. Each chakra is a “mini-mind center” and therefore, the chakras can be “out of tune” with each other or in conflict with each other, and this creates imbalance in the overall well being of the physical, emotional and mental. Because the chakras are individuated mini-mind centers this reflects the “separation of the Pure Light” into sound and reflected light and electromagnetic frequencies. Tuning up the chakras with sound works in the way of clearing that module so to speak of static or conflicting frequencies of vibration. When chanting it clears the static of the ‘mini-mind’ centers of the chakras and brings consciousness to center within the balance of the sound of the chant. Or if using singing bowls for example also would give the chakras a balancing tune-up. Once the person, however, leaves the healing session, their mind centers can very well fall back into chaotic static, so, therefore, Mastery of each center is the goal.
Anyway, just some tidbits of offerings along the way to share of what the Ascended Masters teach ongoing.

I feel that idealistically the human body is evolving to the point that all the chakras act like Crown/Heart chakras. In other words each chakra becomes integrated into their own understanding of the Divine. Each chakra has the option of falling in Love with God in its own time and according to its own understanding of what Divinity is.
They have the option of understanding that Divinity is a state of mind, not a destination! Hopefully the chakras will integrate themselves into one being, that is filled with understanding, Love and Compassion.
Why should we keep trying to make things more and more complicated? I feel the human body is trying to integrate this spectralized, prismatic light and spectralized, prismatic sound of the Earth plane into the “direct light” as you call it.
I think that instead of creating a mini-mind, the Chakras are really trying to create a Mini-Me. Why should we keep looking for the Divine, further and further away?
Divinity is closer than your next breath.

Yes, exactly, I never said seeking the Divine was outside our very own consicousness further and further away no matter what level of consciousness we are awakened to. But I was offering some insight into what occurs as the separation of a part of consciousness into the reflected spectrum of colored Light. The spiritual journey is about integrating into wholeness…but the journey of separation [involution] initially creates the mini-mind centers of the chakras. The journey to wholeness [evolution] is the integration of the physical, emotional and mental bodies of consciousness to awaken and align with the Divine Light of consciousness. The separation is the “Fall” from Divine Consciousness into the unconscious to then awaken fully in the Light.
The human body is complex in its workings and for the most part it functions from unconscious programming. How many of us are aware of how our internal organs function. We don’t consciously “think” them to do their function. It is programmed in the unconscious. Until that program is shifted, human beings will continue to “feel” far from their awakened Divine Self and project creation into the reflected spectrum. A fully awakened Ascended Master creates directly within the Living Light.
I have asked the question myself also why is every thing so complex, and the Masters always reply….Love is smiple but creation is complex. As in your words the Heart Chakra simply Loves but the Crown chakra is the access to Divine Mind and Divine Mind is the genius of creation. Pose the question to your Self and ask would you expect God consciousness to be simple like 1, 2, 3 building blocks of kindergarten or the complexity that is omniscience, omnipotence, omnipresence? But what is the Brilliance of the Divine Light but that of the genius of God consciousness?
You don’t need to answer these questions to me…but just offer them for those who wish to ponder them. And I may not remember to check back on this board if I get busy. But thank you Jim for your reply and thoughtful insights.

The comments the bloggers have made are wonderful, i.e., intelligent and thought-provoking. I sense there is a Bigger Picture (wisdom) evolving, consisting of various parts, of course, but seemingly inter- and intra-connecting. What keeps getting my attention is your title: “The Sound of Light.” Frankly, this says it ALL. When I consider that photons are light and that they are the essence of every atom and sub-atomic particle, I am reminded that atoms exist everywhere in the Cosmos . . . and thus, light is the essence of the Cosmos, including each human . . . who is a Universe. I am reminded again that we should all be knowledgeable of the language and basic principles and concepts of quantum physics, such as complementarity, the uncertainty principle, and Bohm’s holonomy, as well as the true meaning of E = mc(squared) and the latest quantum theory, superstring, which as you know, is based on musical harmonic ratios and proportions.
With regard to the latter two terms, is it any wonder that Pi-thagoras is said to have taught that (1) ALL is (2) number, that (2) number is (3) music, and thus, (1) is (3)? So, where is music NOT? Of course, this wisdom was not concocted by Pi-thagoras. Rather he learned it in Egypt, and the Egyptians, in turn, learned it from Zep Tepi—the “First Time.” What is happening today is that quantum physicists are confirming what the ancients already knew (and what humankind lost conscious of, in the intervening ages). Now and presently, general consciousness is rising more rapidly, connections are being made across disciples. I see this as the ascension toward 2012.

I was thinking tonight. Perhaps we are not in a void after all. Perhaps we all live in an infinitely dense solid of total consciousness and all these experiences we are having are totally relative to our point of view.
Our point of view seems to be that we are a being that is relatively solid in an endlessly expanding universe of stuff. Perhaps the movement of all things is caused by our mutually agreed upon belief system.
The relative movement of light and sound could possibly be moving to our own Divine whimsy.
When one wave in the ocean moves, the whole ocean moves, be it ever so small, it moves never the less because it is all connected.
Perhaps when the Divine moves, we all move with her and when we Love we become one with the Beloved.
We are not separate from these experiences of Light and Sound. We are them and they are us.

Consensus reality! That’s the key!
This discussion has definitely played with the multiverses of consciousness and existence and continues to be most intriguing. With regard to the subject of sound and light, I’d like to ask if everyone feels complete with their contributions to this topic? A related area that is equally intriguing also involves the “low of octaves”–that is the relationship between audible sound frequencies and other phenomenon. As different frequencies are either halved or doubled multiple times many suggest relationships with other physical or etheric substances from molecules to planets Some have suggested that the periodic table of elements can be directly related to sound. Other have suggested the orbital distances of the planets have a direct and specific relationship to audible sound. I’d like to open this aspect of sound for discussion on our healingsoundblog.

It sounds like fun. Exactly how low do you want to go? Are you talking about the energies that resonate at the root chakera area or the ones that resonate from the bottoms of the feet, or someplace in-between? Or something else altogether?
For example I know the sound of Tau resonates at many chakera levels simultaneously as does the sound Ya Way Hu. Remember as we have discussed before direction is relative. Are we going towards Heaven or is it coming towards us?

Again a great question, Jonathan. Another way to put it: Does the simple existence of an octave relationship mean anything more than a power of two? So, does a tuning fork pitched at 141 Hz — exactly 2^32 faster (32 octaves higher) than the period of Mercury’s orbit — have any significance other than the fact that it’s an octave relationship? Since you can’t “hear” Mercury’s orbit, it’s definitely not sound to sound…
I feel that it does. We perceive frequency as frequency across many different media — sound, light, rhythm, heart, moon, planet. We also perceive harmony of those frequencies across different media, based on simple ratios, the octave (2:1) being the simplest.
So I would argue that a tuning fork pitched at an octave relationship to the orbital frequency of a planet does have a special resonance, particularly for those with the planet in their astrological sign, just as an example.
I think that harmonic relationships create energetic resonance, even across multiple octaves and different media. I also believe that resonance can cause these types of harmonic relationships. Resonance is both a result and cause of harmony.

Silly Me, I read your original message wrong, you meant the “law of Octaves”. I think the best example of this “Law of octaves” is the human body. We are a microcosm of what is happening on a larger scale. If it is happening out there it is happening in our own human bodies only on a smaller scale.
First I would like to know what are the parameters of reality that you would like to discuss. Do you want to keep the reality in the confines of a total 3ed dimensional reality? Or should we deal with the biofeedback loop of what we experience as human?
I have found that as you change your awareness, your perception of “reality” changes. The big reality doesn’t change. The thing that changes is the size of our feedback loop. The more we expand our awareness the more we expand our “bodies”.
There really is no limit as to how cosmically big we can become. As we become more expansive in our understanding; the energies of our feedback loop changes. Our human body becomes more receptive to different octaves of reality; consequently we become receptive to new sounds. That doesn’t mean they weren’t there, they were just dormant in our own encoded DNA. But that would get into Divine genetics and we are just talking about sound.

Jonathan thank you for sharing your wonderful research with the world! I purchased two of your CD’s within the last six months: “Frequencies,” and “Chakra Chants,” both of which I have had some wonderful transcendent experiences (so have my two dogs
.
I have also just started reading your book “The Seven Secrets of Sound Healing.” Wonderful! I am a musician and it is a dream of mine to study sound and healing further and incorporate what I learn into my compositions.
As far as the relationship with sound and light and if they are one and the same, based on my experience during meditation or unexpected moments of stillness, many times I have been bathed in inner light and it has been accompanied with a powerful, expanding, uplifting sound. Also, there are times when I have been watching and listening to a live music performance and have seen color movement coming from the music. In both instances the music and the sound happen at the same time. However, I also hear inner sound without a light experience and I have also experienced inner light without sound. In all experiences there is this feeling of all things of this physical world falling away and being of no importance in an all encompassing moment of light and/or sound, peace and love.

I propose some more speculation as to the relationship between sound and galactic bodies.
Some basic facts about earth taken from: http://geography.about.com/od/learnabouttheearth/a/earthfacts.htm
Earth’s Circumference at the Equator 24,901.55 miles (40,075.16 km)
Earth’s Circumference between the North and South Poles” 24,859.82 (40,008 km)
Earth’s diameter at the equator: 7926.8 miles (12756.1 km)
Earth’s diameter at the poles 7899.80 miles (12,713 km)
Average distance from the earth to the sun: 93,020,000 miles (149,669,18 km)
Average distance from the earth to the moon: 238,857 miles (384,403.1 km)
Given these verifiable facts we can speculate that the earth is turning on its axis once every 24 hours, or once a day.
Therefore we can show that the earth is turning on its axis at the speed of 1037.5645 Miles per hour (24,859.82 mph divided by 24 hours in one day) or 1667 kph, kilometers per hour (40,075.16 kph divided by 24 hours in one day).
Given these facts we can roughly speculate what sound is created by earth turning on its axis. However we also have to take into effect Galactic drift.
That is the effect of our solar system moving through space as it spins on its axis around the galactic core at the same time it is also moving though space as it is pulled towards what is known as the Virgo cluster of galaxies.
This also creates what is called a bow shock effect, similar to a supersonic jet going through the atmosphere.
Would this effect enhance or diminish the sound created by the earth’s rotational field? I don’t know. Speculatively I would think the sound would vary, Latitudinal and Longitudinally depending on what side of the earth you were on as the earth moves through space and would vary over a 24 hour period during rotation.
I will let some of you mathematicians do the math to figure out what is the base note of Earth based on verifiable information in zip code reality.

I have some more speculation as to the sounds of planets and galaxies.
As we have already established the planet is turning on its axis at over 1000 mph and you could also do the mathematical calculations as to the circumference of the solar systems and the planets moving through space in their orbit.
We are assuming of course that the planet and solar system come back to the same place after a year. Which they don’t because the planet and solar system are subject to galactic drift and we are moving through space at x=mph/kph. We are all assuming the planets are moving through a medium that will vibrate as we pass through it.
Does it really matter in the scheme of things? I would be more concerned with the radiation from your cell phone than the cosmic flutter of us passing through space.
Why do we have to assume that the original cosmic sound is Yaway or Ohm. Why couldn’t the original cosmic sound have been created with a simple?

Master Sha is wonderful teacher offers healing techniques to heal mind, body, emotions and spirit. He uses four power techniques to heal. One is sound healing. Which uses different chants, or mantras, or repetition of sounds to asstist in the healing blessings. His recent book “soul communicaiton” is great for learning ways to speak with the divine and other souls for guidance and help. I have been practicing many of his suggestions and really find more peace and happiness in each day. Love the results of feeling better and feeling blessed. thank you master sha.

In science we use and observe light to identify a sample’s chemical composition. When we look above to the sky with a clear view at brilliant stars, we see more than a twinkle, but also flashes of different visible spectral light-color as certain elements in a star’s chemical composition spontaneously combusts.
When we look at someone wearing a red shirt, this means the shirt is absorbing all the visible and some invisible spectral light except for the color red, which is emitted and what we see. Consequently, there seems to be a complementary relationship between what kinds of light is absorbed, and the kind of light that is naturally given off under ‘normal circumstances.’
Does this principle play a role in helping the practitioner decide which (color-light frequency or sound wave) is good for restoring a system’s normal function-processing-attunement-emission, that critical state of environmental equilibrium that benefits the whole?

RE: Math and Octavization
We are too bound to simplify the divine in technology and must remember that at the technological level of understanding and defining we have delved into the complex and encumbered it. Thus I want to point out that a weakness in “perfecting” computations of frequencies is in the act of “octavizing” to obtain relationships to the frequency being directly referenced. Octavization is a simplified construct of doubling/halving. While it looks like “perfection” and wholeness, it isn’t, it is just simplification. Perfection is slightly more complex and relational, and in itself has a teeny bit “missing” that ironically is what fuels “life”, that is, action, motion, aliveness. That teeny missing bit causes attraction or propulsion or whatever term you wish to apply to the inducement of activity. Without it there is not even vibration (eeps!)
What I am referring to is what Don Estes has succintly described as the Great Diesis, the 125:128 difference in natural scales. Below I am pasting an excerpt from his website. Anytime we seek to define ranges of vibration — be it light, color, sound, thought, whatever — in “perfection” we need to account for this true minute difference, and to realize that all is relative to the original point of reference. Simple octavizations, the more they are compounded, lose accuracy. While it is adequate for much of what we are attempting to accomplish or understand, we need to ask in our particular application or study whether it needs to be considered. Thus I bring this back into the ring for consideration as appropriate.

The Great Diesis ™ is a ratio that bridges the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds…illustrates the relationship between relative diversity and absolute unity…and resolves the difference between actual and potential reality. In human experience, this ratio manifests any time there is an attempt to “square the circle”…a geometrical function that defines the relationship between imperfect and perfect forms like squares and circles of equal volume. There is a slight difference between these two worlds that is best expressed in music theory.
Western music scales are conveniently “tempered” or stretched to make the octave double in frequency with each progression for ease of use, but the natural octave of the Universal Rhythm does not exactly do so…it comes up short by a small fraction known in music theory as the Great Diesis…a tiny ratio mathematically expressed as 125:128. Spreading this slight difference across the twelve notes of the equal temperament scale stretches them just enough to make the octave double in frequency so that transposition from one octave to the next on a musical instrument is made easy.
As a time-based ratio, it allows for smooth transition between the temporal and spectral domains and resolves differentials between analog and digital vector processing. While human action takes place in the temporal domain of relative time, all possible outcomes of such action are concealed within the spectral domain of frequency or relative vibration. The Great Diesis facilitates transition between these two domains and provides a foundation for the various products and services we offer around the world.
Converted to frequency, this ratio provides a universal fundamental for all periodic wave phenomenon such as sound. In other words, it is a number that ties us all together as whole number ratios of the universal rhythm and allows therapies based on enhancing what’s right about an individual rather than fixing what’s wrong.
The roots of the word Diesis come from both Greek and Latin and means…”to let go, send through, or release”. Composers have traditionally used the double dagger symbol to score it in music notation because of its implication of release of tension. Our use of it implies our desire to help others release the tension created in their lives because things don’t always come together like they want…to resolve the differences between their actual and potential selves…and to send through or stretch themselves to higher and more complex levels of order, unity, and purity, the essence of holiness.

About Brown
In all the discussion about vibrational color therapy and theory I have read and heard I cannot recall the discussion of brown. In older psychology texts of course there is the general conception that ‘brown is depressing” and in commerical application that “brown is neutral or calming”. There is general social acknowledgement of brown as “earthy”, “grounding” and “natural”. And we all know that the mixing of opposite or all color pigments (not light) produces brown. This is just the range pop-culture basics of brown. But what I’d like to focus on is more in regard to color therapy. It doesn’t factor into Dinshah wheels, chakra charts, you name it. Vibrational color therapy, and sound therapy that intends to produce or enhance the auric or chakra colors focuses on rainbow colorations. How does the range of brown — from lightest to darkest — relate to healing practice?
A couple months ago I got a vision that is one of those beyond my current level of comprehension, one of those visions that is meant to instigate search (wish they would keep to a certain discipline or genre so I could get somewhere with each of them, but oh well). I want to share it with you to see what insights you might be able to provide (or at least to share with you the same stimulus of another direction of thought about color).
What I was shown was that in the “creation” of color in our existence, there was brown before all other color, and that colors prismatically came from this brownness. The brown ranged from the lightest kind of pre-sunrise glow to deep darkness. From this came the emanation of indigo blue, again ranging from lightest to darkest hues (the lightest and darkest seem to be the same in any scale). This blue was the very same blue that glows in the crystalline “bions” (using the original Orgonomic definition of the word by Wilhelm Reich), the geometric particles that tissue decays into in death and that also generate cellular life through vortexial motion. It was the blue that we understand as the life-force, of the “higher” realms, etc. I was so surprised to see this illustration of brown before blue, and also of brown prismatically separated rather than pure white as we nearly exclusively conceive.
Since then I have on occasion pondered brown. I once was shown the evolution of a planet and how after the red-black-gold-and-white of the volatile forces the surface is of brown material awaiting the greening of what we think of as life (for those who are already concerned with what came first, brown or red, that’s just part of the entire question — the volatile forces were possibly of “original” light rather than the reflected light-color of pigment/material… and also, this planet I was seeing was not the “first” planet ever, so light/color already existed before the creation I was being shown). Anything left under the sun decays to browns. The dirt/sand of the surface is in range of browns. Even our skins are in the range of browns (not considering the tint of sunburn and blood flowing beneath — consider a corpse, or tissue without additive coloration from blood or other source).
Within the brown pigment is all color. Maybe because of that fact we can just focus on rainbow color, the color of the light range in performing healing therapy. Can anyone else shed some unique insight on brown and its inclusion/exclusion or role in healing therapies and the being of human beings?

I find the concept of harmony and resonance an important part of understanding how we may perceive color or light as sound. As a musician/singer I have experienced through relating musically with others that new colors/dimensions occur depending on the combination of beings creating the sounds. Even within the standard musical understanding of how these harmonies should be operating it appears that the sound “color tones” as they are often referred to in music can change within the context of the emotions of the musician and the combination of musicians. So we deal with not only the vibrations of the music but the vibrations of the individual in that moment in time. That is very key, because we have to take into account that the vibrations change within time and how that may affect the harmonic outcome. The colors that are perceived, from my point of view, are not visual but some inner seeing and that can be perceived differently , again, depending on the combination of vibrations/sounds that are occurring in that moment.
I think of it in more simple terms as when I improvise. When I am am doing that as a solo instrument I see and hear a certain set of vibrations but when I include another instrument it changes, then add more and it changes again. So are we trying to define this idea of what the colors are too systematically? Or is this one of those situations where we have to take in account that the perception of light/color changes when it meets another vibration.
I think of this in terms of people in every day life too. We are vibrating and resonating a certain way until we come in contact with another being. And although we are made of the same “stuff” it is in the combination of these frequencies that we alter and become a new frequency. 1+1 = 2
Certainly not a scientific statement but just an observation from my own experiences. I am constantly reminded in my own work about the significance of how sound effects us on such deep and profound levels.

What a spunky council of sonic beings you have alchemized with you blog, Jonathan! I imagine you will have channelings from Kepler, Pythagoras & Imhotep arriving soon! I think to add a dash of Hebrew harmonic theory to the mix. Barbara, that 16 x16 magical number 256 is ayin-ayin or ayin squared, the Eye that sees transdimensionally. It is the gematria of the Hebrew word Devarim, things that have substance & coherence. It appears the Circlemakers are fond of this number ( see the June 1996 Alton Barnes formation) as well as Resonance Masters who fashioned the Giza Chamber of the Resurrection (aka King’s Chamber) which vibrates at 256 cycles per second in a spacial volume of 256 cubits. Kabbalah teachings suggest that harmonic sonics are a 7th dimension tool of Creation. Another 256 phrase is M’Ayin Elohim from the Eye ( Vacuum/Plenum Emptiness/Fullness Implicate/Explicate) of the Co-Creators. Light is bi-fold: the Infinite Light without Threshold ( Or Ayn Soph) & the chromatic light we can see.. In my sound healing work, I have found that a harmonically rich plenum of vocal vowel harmonics provides a much richer band of healing frequencies for bio-resonance than the offering of any pure note or frequency. And drinking a colour may be more bio-available than a colour gel broadcast. Astronomical green laser light is worth exploring on major acupoints. (And in conjunction with those harmonics you are bathing your crystals with, Elise!). I have a friend in Toronto who is now creating the pure Violet Glass Elixir bottles to store
the ultraviolet ( & ultrasonically charged water into wine) freqencies for healing purposes…

What about holograms? How are they related to the discussion?
What about shamanic journeying, in which a drum beat inspires or drives visual movies, unfolding with travel, to the upper world, middle world, and lower world? These are preceded by ritual blessing, calling in the directions, smudging — affecting the sense of smell. Power animal and teacher helpers show up.
Something lights up and colors what is perceived during journeys.

Ringing of the Rivers with the Holy Harmony forks
I just wanted to let fans and users of Jonathan Goldman’s tools know that there is a new protocol available for restoring and renergizing rivers and waterbodies using the 9-tone solfeggio set of tuning forks. The original protocol given to Judy Lynne Cole for her “Ringing of the Rivers” project to restore and connect the waterways worldwide is based on the full 18-tone solfeggio scale. Judy and I spent the time to rework the protocol for just 9 tones, which means the ceremony can be done with the Holy Harmony set. Moreover, the ceremonies I was called upon to do involved just three people rather than a large group, so that too makes it more available to people to perform.
The ringing ceremony uses sound and sacred geometry to generate a certain type of vortex in 13 layers of clockwise and count-clockwise motion. It takes about an hour to go through it all. I have done two and the seer of the group described an enormous presence of multitudes of spirits from many different realms, including the angels, archangels, silver and gold beings, the emerald beings from which Thoth comes, pink Mer beings, archetypes from the pantheons, fairies and elementals, and all kinds of beings. She said with the toning of each frequency, the different beings would intensify their glow in resonance. There was tremendous joy among the gathering and deep gratitude and graciousness. At the second event, we were even honored by the presence of Anubis, one of the least you’d think of being part of a glorious celebration. Our seer saw the vortex being constructed of filaments of light as we proceeded. The first one we did at the headwaters of the Russian River (the one that feeds California’s famous wine region… before the whole state became a wine region, that is) came out as silver. The second one at the Laguna de Santa Rosa watershed that feeds the Russian River came out in rainbow hues. We are anxious to see the third of the series, but it is not yet scheduled. In the meantime, I am to take some of the crystals that were charged during these ceremonies to Peru (9 to go into each waterbody).
It is unfortunate that Judy does not have a website up for the Ringing of the Rivers project, but she does speak of it at every public presentation and have flyers for it. The goal is to connect all the waterways of the world in a web of these energetic vortices, each strengthening the others as they are propagated with human heart and intention. Lets give a thought to the possible existence of Invisible sound and silent light. Ultrasound silence versus invisible ultraviolet light.
The connection of sound to light is shown to us through dolphins, they see the inside of matter using ultrasound. Then, maybe we could come to understand that one could hear ultraviolet light, or it is a sensation similar to how we feel infrared as heat in our skin. Then we also feel ultraviolet light as a crispy sensation in our skin, as when we are out in the sun. Then light is invisible for us in the ultraviolet range and sound is not audible for us in the ultrasound range. Why did humans evolution left out fully experiencing and using these special vibratory sensations? When other animals seem to be as natural with their sight related to sound, in those higher ranges of vibration?. Maybe we need to evolve to understand how to use these senses from a different perspective than animals, that do not shape their world around them like we do. And maybe soon we evolve our senses to perceive from light to ultraviolet light, from sound to ultrasound, at the same time as we enter a nanoworld in technology, that offers to shape shift matter into anything we want. Another possible future is that we might perceive these faster vibrations with our senses, instead of needing more technology. Do you think that mobile phones are substituting telepathy, and machines are substituting telekinesis? Are we creating all of this technology to enhance or substitute these higher senses attributes? Instead our brain and mind was divided into two halves that brought more reason and logic to shape matter to a smallest particle inside all infinite void. Nanotechnology uses light switches to change the structure of matter morphing it with photexcitation. Human intelligent thought and creative capacity is shaping matter now to the tiniest of particles and is what makes us more evolved from animals, as we are changing the face of Earth Gaia, while the animals have more evolved senses to help them survive in their surroundings with out shaping it.
Have you all wondered as we evolve what happened to ignore these perceptions of space time in time space, related to intelligence, if other species evolved with a complete knowledge on how to use those silent and invisible vibrations of the world around us.
Then if another special difference between humans and other animal species is our capacity of thoughts. A Thought is as a photon of light, it comes out of nowhere, it cannot be stored or pinned down in time nor in space, the same as light it has no mass, no volume. Both are born beyond time and space, where nature controls all processes in the void which is full of creative potential and intelligence. Maybe we are trying to understand that light is silent and sound is invisible. Nanotechnology will help us understand further how thoughts can shape matter, the same as light and sound change and shape matter.
I hope this brings some interest for us as a new vision of humanity is emerging.

Addition and Correction to Ringing of the Rivers
Addition:
After completing the vortex in the Ringing of the Rivers ceremony, our group also — with Spirit concordance — “packaged” the 13th Chord tones into the crystals that we were charging with these energetics. Judy and colleagues discovered that the 13th Chord neutralizes West Nile virus which of course uses waterways as a primary vector. Without playing into the fear-factor side of disease generation and epidemiology, those of you who have the 13th Chord pairs may want to treat water with these tones (whether you do cleansing of waterways or not).
Correction:
The vortex at the first ceremony we did was of rainbow filaments; the second one was silver (of course, that leads us to anticipate something gold at the third, but you know how Spirit loves to turn us on our heads, so no expectations really… and no date yet either).
Aside:
Just for added interest for ye mystics, the modification from 18 tones to 9 in the Ringing ceremony was accomplished based on the principles of mirroring, which is a technique Da Vinci used to encode intelligence in his paintings. Judy happens to be one of the leading researchers and decoders of Da Vinci’s work as well, presenting alongside Giovanni Paulo.

To MarySol Re: Using technologies vs Human sense
I’d like to chime in with support for your assertions. Humans both are now and will be capable of greater sensory perception and activity. Much as we have abandoned the keen-ness of our regular senses of smell, sight, hearing, feeling, we also abandoned a number of other senses, sixth and more along the course of human experience. With training and sensitizing we can recover those senses. In our future development we won’t have to work so hard at the recovery of these capabilities.
I’d like to dovetail with the Ringing the very subject I raised just before your post, about the Ringing of the Rivers ceremony. The very vortex we create with the tones of the tuning forks can be created just with our thoughts. The thing is that while some of us have that understanding and skill right now, not all do. Technologies at their best are here to teach and to aid. The tuning forks allow us to create the energetic vortex reliably while each participant learns at their own speed how to do things like this for themselves without the aid of any tool.
The key is to develop and use tools to teach, learn re-learn and aid, and not to substitute, lose or destroy. Jonathan of course has made this point numerous times, as have many speakers and authors about sound healing therapies and technologies. The difference in this creative/destructive application and adaptation is our own humanity, heart and intent, both each and all together. There are no security measures. There aren’t meant to be. Guarantees themselves are founded on a basis of fear. Becoming truly free is to have the choice and to make it.
Our technologies — whether, say, a reed is used to create a instrument for sound or paper for writing or fiber for textiles or biofuel for propulsion or extracts for healing — need to be viewed as currently convenient and ultimately disposable!

Yes Tish, I know that we are changing very rapidly and a quantum jump means just that, seeing ultraviolet light and hearing or sensing ultrasound, which will create more transparent and authentic communication between all human beings. All of this comes from the pineal gland, which needs to be awaken by intense light, sungazing or intense darkness, to activate the 2million rods in the eyes, that we are not using.
It is my theory that since immemorial times the healing power of the sun and of the pineal gland has been hidden from us by priests into patriarchal religions. And slowly we have made the sun our enemy for health, when it is our ally. I call this the CONSPIRACY OF LIGHT. This is coming to an end soon.
I am studying the effects of harmonics from a drum under a large Phi dome, 5 meters diameter, that I have in my house in southern east Spain. At times it sounds like bells, other times like whales singing. It is amazing the tingling sensation throughout the whole body after a session. I also study the Harmonic Signature in human voice, which defines the special tone of a persons voice, in men between 3 to 7 khz and in women between 4 to 8khz, but some persons have still high peaks up to 10 or 11 khz.
I also have huge special silica prisms that project huge spectral rainbows, that leave pass through ultraviolet light to 300 nanometers. When projected over the body one can feel the place of ultraviolet, but not see it. It is doing amazing healing effects.

Lesley Turner’s question, “What about holograms?” The vibrations from two light sources create the intersections of the circles, at a certain angle to create a three dimensional imitation of a real object. Years ago, I made a hologram at MIT and wondered if it could be done with sound.
The vibrations from two sound sources create visual geometries from a generating frequency in a Lambdoma Matrix field. One sound source is the drone of the generating audible frequency and the other sound sources are the angled ratios of each of the 256 angles in the field. It would be wondrous to create 3-D forms from harmonic sounds by aiming the sounds at a real object and comparing results.

I have to breathe in order to emit sound.
Following “As above, so below…,” sound comes from breath.
To create sound–what does sound look like? What does breath look like?
Have you ever breathed onto a really cold window and looked at the crystalline patterns? It’s the water pattern that shows. I have read that water is a condensation of air. Air is breathed.
Following Masaru Emoto’s work, intent is all-important.
I am laying out patterns onto grids to be played with crystal quartz singing bowls. I know I am setting 2-D boundaries, but it’s the best I have so far. I yet can’t seem to wrap my mind around 3-D graphing to be played out(let alone 4-D). Also, I am working out math and measurements to have hollow glass (maybe wood) spheres made with relative numbers of patterns of holes to be played in spherical motions–my attempt at 3-dimensional sound.
My instruction in music and physics amounts to self-study. I fare well with math and art. I see in pictures, then start at the drawing board.
My grandpa is a carpenter. When I was little, he helped me to bring my ideas to life, to bring life out of wood. Sometimes the pieces fit together, sometimes not. His advise:
“If you can’t fit it together in the end, try glue, lots of glue if you need it. You can always wipe the extra off your fingers on the inside of your pocket-then you don’t waste a rag, you don’t get yelled at, and you can keep trying until you get it right.”

Do you think we could be living in a spherical hologram already?
Perhaps we are one half of a two sphere system. Living on one side or inside of a sphere and we are trying to connect or reconnect to another spherical creation on the other side.
Perhaps once we reconnect the two spheres off our dualistic holographic system, we will reestablish our connection to our personal feedback loop and see the whole picture.

Hello everyone. In response to return of heightened senses, the sound of silence and the whole array of great sharings and teachings..I have a couple of stories if you care to sit by the fire with me…
I am very fortunate to be living in a pure natural area where the earth mother houses the crystals and indeed this offers opportunity to live in a more intensified field of existence in general – whatever the focus – great training in staying with Right Thinking!
Driving is mostly tree lined and mellow. I enjoy very much toning to the trees 100 ft tall ponderosa pines and oaks as I take the 35 miles drive into city limits. As one gets closer to city limits and the roadways change to more chaos – the animals react. Recently, I experienced a telepathic communication with a deer. I sensed the panic first, then spotted her on the opposite side figidity to cross…my mind spoke to her energetics somehow and said – STOP! wait for OK. She danced in panic but did not go into the roadway. When I said OK she crossed freely right in front of my car and really did look into the windshield. I heard a whispered “thank you” as she safely made her goal.
We often have fox barking through the forest at dusk – that magical doorway time when one can glimpse between the cracks of the worlds – or enter. Walking one evening a lovely midsize red fox and I met face to face. We passed each other softly then both stopped and turned to look back at each other from a safer distance. I started to sing…I have noticed that the sounding of baaaabeeee softly seems to bring response sometimes. She sat down and continued to look at me as I sang softly for 5 minutes or so. Then with a lightness of foot and no fear energy at all – she danced off.
I love to meditate in the sounds of multiple birds singing. Breathing in the orchestra of birdsong into my heartspace brings the ears of the heart alive. I listenfor one song to call my attention…once on the trail of a special song connection one can than ask ‘from where does this bird sing”?
I work within the realms of spirit in my sound healing. This could be called a shamanic path, I call it Love. I live for moments like this…the sense of oneness in energetic cosmos…we are in everything…everything is in us.
We have many waterways here as well. I know that when I go to the waters to tone…the intention of peace and cleansing is carried along those waterways. I know that when I intention a water blessing…it happens.

Regarding Joseph Mark Cohen’s remarks, the prime resonant frequency of the King’s Chamber is actually 121 Hz, not 256 Hz although there is probably a strong mode at double the prime, i.e. 242 Hz. I can vouch for the 121 Hz frequency because I did the acoustics experiment myself with a Klark Teknik audio analyser in 1997.
The volume of the King’s Chamber is approximately 328.4 cubic metres, which equates to around 320.6 Royal Cubits, not 256 Royal Cubits as suggested. I don’t know where the incorrect data came from that Joseph cited but I feel it’s important to set the record straight so that people don’t go off on a wrong track and begin to draw wrong conclusions.
Regarding Mary Sol Gonzalez Sterling’s comments, relating to why humans evolved without being able to sense the frequencies of sound and light enjoyed by other creatures, I would like to offer the following viewpoint. We as humans evolved in a different direction, Nature granted us the most powerful brain on Earth. With it we can create instruments that surpass the sensory apparatus of every creature on Earth. I will always be grateful that I was born a human rather than, say, a dolphin.
Speaking of dolphins, I would like to share with everyone that I am privileged to be working with a team of scientists in Florida who are attempting to decode dolphin language. We are using the CymaScope to make the dolphin sounds visible for the first time, each dolphin word creating a unique CymaGlyph (pattern of sound.) We hope to be able to share our results within the next few weeks.

Love hearing about your incredible dome and studies! And once again following up in agreement, I often use religious and political demonizations as the flag for what I need to look more into rather than avoid! (As a corollary, I have found the criticisms of a detractor often the most direct and useful source of good information about the strong features of a person/place/thing (and this is especially fun and easy with the internet). The more demonized something is, very often the more promising it is.
I want to relate an experience to what you described experiencing with the vibrations under your dome. In a trip to Egypt with a group of sound healers and toners this year, one of many many incredible experiences produced an amazing physical reaction where after just a few minutes of toning my body was in complete post-adrenalin shake-down. It felt just like at the completion of a race or after having responded to an emergency situation, body shaking and flush with “exertion”. All that had happened, though, was that I had held a specifically resonant tone at a certain cubby in one of the temples together with another person. The act of holding the tone in its perfect, most powerful resonance was all-consuming, as it required a uniquely soft, moderated, sustained breath and had the tiniest “margin of error” and had to be harmonized with the other person, each of us complicitly feeling our way through it during the vocalization. I had no idea how much concentration that could take! We just went with the experience. The vibes ran through us as they would water (not an insignificant statement as that is what we are). But at the completion of just a few minutes (the length of a pop-song more or less) our bodies felt physically like we had just completed a full circuit at the gym. I thought WOW! Just consider how effective this would be for conditioning! Being such an unexpected encounter, we have no information on what the tone was and that detail is probably not what is important so much as adding to what we perceive as the capabilities of sound/vibration. The materials and shapes of the architecture of temples in Egypt were carefully designed to produce such effects (and there are places formed by the divine hand of nature for similar purposes). Would be interesting to try bringing some objects of certain resonant qualities into your dome to see what harmonic/vibrational effects can be studied.

Elise, thank you for illustrating your insights with such delicate imagery. Your note about singing the word “baby” (“baaaabeeee”) reminded me of a keen piece of information I received recently about the word in addition to the tone.
Please bear with me a moment. This will sound a little far afield even in this field. I have a duck that was divinely granted to accompany me for a while in my path. He knows more than I do. Can see angels that I cannot (I have to call a psychic friend to tell me who is here when he gets impatient over it). I have often noted how much attention he pays to the word “Hello”, giving it great honor (made me wonder if he’s reflecting back on a past life as a parrot, but no, that wasn’t it
).
Recently I received information to take a certain journey to an ancient place in the Mediterranean and the word “khere” came in big with it. I looked it up and it is ancient greek for “hello”. I conferred with a psychic and she confirmed that the ancients were sending me greeting. I followed this by noting that the word “hello” seems to hold some kind of significance, adding the effect it has on the duck (the look of the “master” comes over it). The pychic said that the word “hello” is a universal keyword in any language. It confers welcome, opening, honoring. It is more than we take for granted!
Surely most of us have seen the kinesiological demonstrations that show that certain words are negatively charged and reduce our vitality, steal our own strength when we use them (like cursing words). We realize of course that other words don’t do that. But it was news to me to discover that certain words actually elevate our vibrations. Hello is one of these. I have no doubt that Baby would be another of them. And note here, that it is the word itself, the intention it carries, not the tone we apply to it, which is additive and can further enhance (or detract from) the word. The word itself provides its own basis.

So the accurate measure as you describe it puts the volume of the kings chamber at 320 cubic cubits plus a tail or leader of .6 (a kind of mathematical device that can introduce/induce spiraling as opposed circling). This then suggests a possible reference back to the 320+ degrees of ancient circumnavigational tools (granted one is circumferential and one is volumetric). Nothing was left to accident in the design of the chambers. Not sure just how it relates, but the highest frequency flower essence is the iconic rose itself at 320 hz (and yes now we are talking physical measure on the one hand and vibrational on the other but these differences don’t necessarily dismiss the potentiality of a conscious relationship). Is the King’s chamber perceived as representational of the head of man (as in the Hebrew roshe, which is related in various ways to rose)?

Dear Barbara and Jim…if I can stretch a little “in the beginning”
there is a theory that the original starseed blueprint of humanity was placed within the crystals within the earth from various planetary civilizations. We as walking beings also are housed within a crystal being of light in our true essence. The magnificent original idea was for Earth to be a Peace base and galactic neutral zone.
Perhaps when we are at Peace here as a planetary civilization back to the original blueprint (which the present time suggests are being decoded) we will be in the place of absolute oneness within ourselves as full memory and re-membrance is linked, setting free within the holograph of our entire DNA connection and abilities?? Does this make sense in questioning what you discuss? Does anyone here feel totally connected to their Absolute Being?????

Dear Jonathan,
You asked me about the validity of 528 as the frequency of DNA Repair and other attributes; and if there is any scientific data regarding this research.
Dr. Emoto and I learned about 528Hz frequency from Dr. Lee Lorenzen, who was a serious investigator and first commercial clustered water producer. Lee added 528Hz secretly into his Cat’s Claw (favorite) formula for DNA repair. The reason he did this, he told me, was because many leading genetic biochemists recognized 528Hz frequency (greenish-yellow color) to be the “miraculous” repair frequency for damaged DNA. Since then, much more information has come from many other reputable sources. David Schmidt from LIFEWAVE, a serious biophysics investigator, along with genius nutritional bioenery researcher and medical doctor Steve Haltiwanger, informed me that 528Hz was very near the center of the electromagnetic color spectrum AND central to the sound spectrum as well. Mathematician Marko Rodin put 528 on the blackboard in one of his main math matrices when I watched him lecture in Hawaii. He stated this matrix came from his study of simple mathematical patterns, in this case his “infinity pattern.” At a Tesla Tech conference in 2008, I witnessed several serious investigators presenting evidence for the double torroid structure of the universe, similar to Nassim Harramein’s work, that appeared to indicate 528Hz at the center of the energy fields and physical manifestations. I left seriously considering 528Hz (as above so below) at the HEART of the entire universe as it is exists at the center of the rainbow and people’s heart charkas.
I now theorize that 528Hz is closer to nature’s middle “C” than the 518 that you proposed in your article above. I suspect strongly that it represents the “Key to the house of David” in the Bible and carrier wave of LOVE, that King David tapped into. It can open doors that no man can close and close doors that no man can open since it is perhaps the strongest force in the universe, as artists and poets have written and sung. 528Hz may be the zero point energy, black hole interface, or event horizon where consciousness or phenomenology moves from the metaphysical realm into the physical, and perhaps back again between dimensions or parallel universes (i.e., LOVE is the heart of the universe.)
You wrote me that research indicates “the feeling of love will repair DNA, but this was not a frequency in cycles per second–rather, it was a feeling of love generated from the heart.”
I think if you consult with experts in biophysics, many will tell you that the heart’s loving intent generates a powerful energy. Some researchers are measuring this subtle vibration and assigning numbers, or field strengths, to LOVE. It is certainly within the realm of probability that 528Hz would be a carrier wave transmitting from the center of your heart, connecting you to the center of the musical-mathematical hydrosonically creative universe, and that prayer manifests through this carrier wave of vibrational energy called “LOVE.”
You and I are appreciative of anyone providing more information and scientific confirmation of 528Hz, and the rest of the original Solfeggio musical scale frequencies (396, 417, . . . , 639, 741, 852). As well as the other three members of the “Perfect Circle of Sound” that you used in Holy Harmony with such great success.
Finally, it should be noted that at the center of these six tones of the Solfeggio are 528 (MI) and 639 (FA). That is the “MIacle Family. Those numbers resolve to 6 and 9, or 69. Get it? The Yin/Yang symbol. Pulled closer together they form the 8, which is the structure of the universe.

Hello Elise and others
I think the primary premise of being on Earth is to learn how to act as loving, Compassionate, Creator beings that are functioning in the 3ed dimension.
We have all these forces of nature at our fingertips to play with. It is up to each individual to learn to activate their own spirituality as they see fit and to learn how to use these forces for the greatest good.
It really isn’t important how we got here or how the whole thing got started. The important thing is to live up to our highest potential as creators and spiritual beings in this thickness of reality.
This is a do it yourself reality. We should not wait for someone else, either in this dimension or another dimension to do it for us.
We as humans should realize we are all connected and we live in a bio feedback loop inside this incredible being of Love. All reality is alive, remember the “Golden Rule” Do unto others as you would have done unto you, it is another way of saying “What goes around comes around”. Love is the essence of your feedback loop.
Eternity is a long time. Create and learn to Live, Love, and Laugh.

The externalization of consciousness is a condition that we seem to endow ourselves with as humans.
We often think of a particular energy pattern as being out there before we look inside ourselves to find it. I think it would be helpful if we do not look at sound or light as being an energy form that exists outside of ourselves but rather an energy pattern that is within us.
When you are toning a particular sound you start out by making a sound that rests well with you. There is no “special, secret sound that is more cosmic than another”. Keep making the sound that feels right to you.
Eventually instead of you making the sound, “The Sound” will make you. It is a very subtle shift but it can be experienced.
It is helpful not to think of the sound as being separate from yourself, but as part of a loving energy that exists inside you. It is really quite a rush and it will probably take your breath away. Just keep breathing; it is like making love to the Divine.
“Don’t leave home without it”.

This number 528 gets some special attention with regard to the solfeggio and the tonal creation of a golden-mean spiral as well. To wit: 528 is the center of the 9-tone solfeggio scale. It is also the paired center of the 18-tone solfeggio and the end of the first range of 9 in that series (acknowledging the 9 position as the numerological signal of completion of a life cycle).
I noticed in Judy Lynne Cole’s formula for building the energetic vortex to revitalize rivers (which themselves are the water systems that generate infinite vortexes that revitalize and clease “the” earth energy, whether you call that chi or orgone or prana or whatever), she completes the building of the vortex with a golden mean spiral that is generated of only 528 and its mirror 825, plus the divine compliment 693 (and its mirror). This was very curious to me, for in Marko Rodin’s toroidal math and models, the 5-2-8 series of numbers is but one “direction” or path for the flow that composes a torus and the 4-1-7 series is the other, while the 6-3-9 series is the divine “void” between (from which the power is derived). It puzzled me to find 528 being used to close the building of this energetic vortex, unbalanced by 417 in some way. Until more information comes forth, all I can do is add another to your list of citations emphasizing that there is apparently “something about 528″ here.

As I worked outside earlier today – bits and pieces of delightful conversation continued to spiral in my mind – my mind being both inside and outside of my physical….I could not grasp a thought to follow to contribute to the richness of resource – the very deep well of information that has grown so quickly here. All your voices whisper to me – it is as though they travel on the currents of wind flow, or the soft swaying of the tree branch and the passing clouds…I know that I must start once again at post #1 and slowly sip, as I have been gulping in great joy the presence of all of this in one place! From how long ago do these familiar voices flow? I visit now with a poetic sense of feeling seated at the feet of the Masters in a blissful absorption osmosis This place of Healing Sounds gathering is remarkable and I feel that I must be living life correctly to end up here mingling with the Masters. It would be wonderful to do more experiences under this dome with more experienced persons and musicians like all of you… I am not a musician, I am a sculptress artist that is researching with sound and light…It is a pity that I am far from all of you, I invite you all to come if you visit Europe,,, and I must say that I am truly lucky, because I obtained perfect resonance for sound experiences with harmonics in the centre, meanwhile the paint of the dome around has taken most of the resonance, so music sounds perfect too. I did not know what to do at first, or what I wanted, because with no paint it had so much resonance that you could not understand anyone speaking under the dome. The sound of a mobile phone will be heard in the opposite side of the dome. Its height is around 8meters high, so it does feel like a temple. Here, in Mojacar, Almeria, Spain the last Moorish conquered city, there are many domes and the construction was really easy and cheap, I know how to do it with just bricks, a string from the centre and then fast curing plaster. I will do another one downstairs in the future, but that one will be an igloo dome, to do experiences inside it, more enclosed, and then I will slowly decide about the paint of the walls, till I get exactly what I want. This will not happen till a few years in the future, so I hope to know exactly what to do and it will be for the public, while I will live upstairs, as I live now. About the frequency 528hz, I would say that it is GreenYellow in radiating light, while absorbed light or pigment it would be deep scarlet red. If we multiply by two 32 times from MidC octave, C is greenBlue color which is the complementary of Red in absorbed color or pigment, which relates more with sound. This is the way it is in the BiosonicFFT software that I have created to do voice analysis.

I just played the eight rows of the 8 by 8 matrix of my Lambdoma Keyboard that generated the frequency of 528 (C) at ratio 1:1. The entire harmonic matrix field generated Lissajous figures of beautiful colored and curved geometries on my monitor. I felt wonderful experiencing the purification of the liquids and solids in my body.
I have been looking for a frequency that would encompass DNA, purification of water, etc. The frequency of 396 (G) on the solfeggio scale was found at a ratio of 3:4 on the Lambdoma Keyboard.

I just returned from a LIVE H2O planning conference in Sedona, AZ during which time I was invited to do an experiment using The Water Resonator that features the 528Hz frequency graphically and energetically. The frequency has been permanently placed into the technology using sound, light, prayer, and an iron oxide ink that theoretically operates like audio recording tape. “Playback” is theoretically accomplished by water molecules moving over the face of the technology, or the crystalline glass or plastic bottle on which The Water Resonator adheres (as in Courtney Milne’s mailed message posted in letters at http://www.love528.com).
I just posted the result of this experiment conducted at Your Healthwalk Center that even surprised me due to the profoundly different and widespread color of LOVE that no one could have anticipated. This may have something to do with MarySol’s report (above), “About the frequency 528hz, I would say that it is GreenYellow in radiating light, while absorbed light or pigment it would be deep scarlet red.” The results of this experiment appear to validate MarySol’s determinations, as well as the power of the 528Hz broadcast by The Water Resonator to radiate LOVE externally from within each of us.
This experiment and knowledge reinforces the thesis, and results anticipated, for LIVE H2O, The Concert for the Living Water.

In addition, this information is consistent with “the sound of the sun” recording advanced by NASA and researcher David Sereda that was recently posted on the http://www.liveh2o.org website. (Click the link at the top of that home page to listen to the sound of the sun.) The 285Hz frequency sounds to me like a dominant frequency within the sound of the sun, which also carries the harmonic of 528 and 417Hz frequencies of sound very clearly. I used the Solfeggio/Perfect Circle of Sound tuning fork set to make these determinations. The sun likely carries and transmits every frequency, but these appear to be dominant to my fairly sensitive ear. See what you think!

The source for the 256 volume & core frequency for the Giza Chamber of the Coming Forth Into Light was Rocky McCollum’s Great Pyramid: Final Decoding. Perhaps, when you are next in Egypt, John-Stuart, you might want to do your testing again. I predict you will get a 128 ( 1/2 of 256) dominant frequency. Or a 64, Eye of Horus frequency beneath that! If anyone has a disc of Paul Horn’s Inside the Great Pyramid, he may have placed his findings on the liner notes. In the era before digital sonics & just intonation ( don’t get me wrong here, I love all grand pianos for their sustained harmonics ) middle C was 256 cps not 261 & A resonated at 432 not 440. This is the Pythagorean scale. It resonates with cosmological constants. 432 in Hebrew gematria is Tayvel, tav-bayt-lamed, the Planet, Globe, the reciprical relationship of the human heart to the heart of Creation ( kabbalistic midrash). Tapping the coffer in the KC will awaken that frequency, I believe.
Now let’s have a look at a few of Len’s solfeggio frequencies. The 528 is fascinating. The gematria harmonic is the 33/66/132/264/528/(1056) strand. 33 we know as the 1 in the centre of 32, the Master of the Heart, the Unified Field of the Merkavah ( a la Drunvalo). 66 is the gematria of Gilgal, the Wheel, the double oscillating wave, the two hemispheres of the brain, hohhmah & binah, (remember Galgothha from Gilgalot, the place of the Skull, but not the Crystal One!). 132 is the gematria of the Word Kabbalah, which means to receive, to receive the light, cosmic consciousness in the Holy Harmony of the Heart ( Toward the One, the Only Being…) So 528 is a Medicine Wheel with 132 emanating out in 4 directions. Or a waveform spiralling out in 8 directions.. Or microcosmic heart masters broadcasting from the Star (17) in 16 directions. ( Perhaps Nassim Haramein would be kind enough to illustrated this as a 3d or 5d geometric form.) What about 264, you may ask. That gematria is the word Seder, samekh-dallet-raysh. It means divine order, the secret of the Universe, the foundation of Breath. (It is probably for our time, a hint at some superfoods for the Lightbody, the mono or manna atomics!),
Ok, one last number for Len on the Solfaggio sequence. 741. Amayn. Amen. Yes, even Amun, the hidden god… Aleph-Mem-Nun , the Source of All in the Great Galactic River of Being, you know the Nun, the Nile, the Great Star River.( I was once visiting one of the tombs on the West Bank at Luxor & counted 741 stars on the ceiling of the tomb… )

2nd listening experience about 3/4 of the way through I felt a “presence” and opened my eyes to see a light haze of a yogi seated next to me! As is often the way when beautiful spirit visits, I gasp! I was very lately asked by my spirit guides to go to Peru to “continue the work with water that I began in Egypt.” Being that this came as a giant surprise with just two weeks preparation, it has been a very compressed time. When I saw Jonathan’s latest invitation and prompt to come to the blog I told myself I don’t have time for distractions… but something about Jon and Andi made me come along just for a peek, and then the brilliance of your energies here engaged me. Each day I told myself, okay, that’s enough, got to focus on arrangements to be away. After a weekend workshop with Randy Masters and Jan Cercone and David Wilson with his new trailer for Close Encounters II and Erik Larson with videos of his new generation Cymascope (unbelievably beautiful dances of images produced by the tones in water!) I thought for sure, it’s heads-down now. But this morning it hit me as the discussion of 528 hertz (which also carried into the workshop) played to the tune of “All You Need is Love”. I was informed that for this trip I need take only one tuning fork. I wondered how I would know which it was to be. Thank you, thank you all for the answer, every one of you who provided yet another shade of depth and meaning until it came together for me this morning! The heart of the solfeggio is the one. “Love is all you need.” Perfect! Mwah!

All this idle speculation about the nature of sound is rather interesting, but don’t you think it borders on analysis paralysis.
You are dissecting sound as though it had no consciousness of its own. Essentially you are taking apart dead sound.
What about the nature of prayers? Aren’t they living sounds that are trying to evoke the attention of the divine?
It appears that humanity is trying to recreate what “Indiana Jones” referred to as the “arc of the covenant, or a machine to talk to God”. The fact is that it is already created. It exists inside your own body. Your body is like you having a cell phone with God on speed dial, but you have your ringer turned off and set to vibrate; so all the messages go into your answering machine when God calls back.
If you are going to call God, pick up your phone and say hi or at least
Good Morning I Love you.
God doesn’t have call waiting, so give her a little jingle and put some heart in your message.

I just read the blog and I am on word/analysis overload. There is so much information here it boggles the mind……
I am a horn player, professionally trained classical musician. My expertise is harmonics as created by playing and singing into the horn simultaneously. The tubing of the french horn totals 12 ft when you unwrap it-maybe that is why the harmonics I create when singing and playing it are so powerful. I played the horn and voice harmonics while being photographed by an aura imaging camera. I played harmonics that correlated to certain chakras and body systems (based on Sharry Edwards BioAcoustics-Voice Energy Analysis and sound frequency theory) . I took a before picture of myself, played the harmonics for about 5 minutes and then took another picture. In each case the energy/frequency of the chakra changed to a higher energy/frequency after playing the harmonics. I do a meditation everyday with these harmonics and I have found it to boost my immune system to the point that I can fight off all kinds of colds and viruses. I think the harmonics are powerful because they are a readily recognized pattern by the brain. The harmonic series as a phenomena of the physics of sound is the natural way sound multiplies itself. Interestingly enough sound seems to replicate itself the same ways that cells divide. 1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 4, 4 becomes 8 etc. When you present the brain with the smorgasbord of harmonic sound it knows how to take what it needs to repair what needs repairing. So I use this shot gun approach as it has kept me healthy for many years.

Your message came into my email at exactly 11:11am. That is the number signalling great change. It is an endorsement of your message as well as an added comment, for there are no accidents really.
You are so right that it takes time and attention and care to move through all the layers of changes from the denseness into the lightness of being. If it were quick, we wouldn’t have our long lives and our long long long histories! In fact, we’d miss out on the whole point of physical reality… which is to experience… to experience the great depths of emotion and relationships as well as the great highs of the love of joy.
It is moving faster now, though, the shift through our changes and realizations. Definitely faster.
Thank you for your gentle balancing of insights and your reminder to keep caring patiently… for ourselves and our brothers and sisters.

Your horn low frequencies and harmonics sound great. I will try it under my 5meter diameter Phi dome and will let you know if it creates even more harmonics. I have tried Didgeridoo and it sounds great but no double and triple harmonics as I get from drumming with my fingers. THe tibetan bells do not do it either, just sound great but not more harmonics than usual. With the drum the experience is multiple sounds, low and high it is amazing what happens under the dome. There are differences in using low sounds like your horn, than higher sounds of other instruments. Low sounds move more the circulation and the stagnation of fluids in the body.
I have created a voice analysis software to locate the Harmonic Signature of the specific tone of the voice of a person, and the changes can be seen too in the voice after a session. THe Harmonic Signature in humans is around 3 to8khz. Also I also teach and do toning exact frequencies with the voice as one is hearing it with headphones, this also an amazing experience when you are able to match the same frequency you are hearing, harmonics are heard and feelings of expansion and movement inside the body. I do work with the voice analysis, chromatic tuner as well as FFT that I have created, but I believe in delivering the missing notes to the person with instruments and mostly with their own voice. It is always astounding when the instrument in use and ones own voice become as One and what impact that has on the nature of feeling and a sense of creation…the palpable energy available to play with. Thanks for the invite Marysol! I met you years ago in Ohio when you were studying with Sharry Edwards. I find the horn is wonderful for the harmonics it can create. I have just finished recording my first solo horn CD. It’s called Prayer Songs and is a compilation of the horn calls and chants I have used for years in my meditations. There are also 3 mantra chants on this recording. “There Will Always Be Enough”…very useful in this fearful economic environment…..”The Forgiveness Chant”….a concept whose time has come………and “Let It Go”….a gentle melody that helps to release worries. Yes, I slightly remember you.
Well, I really could not say I studied with Sharry, actually it was the first time I sat in the classroom as a student, because I am self-taught in everything, since 15 years old. It was just not possible to organize her to come to Spain, so I had to go to Ohio to understand all of this about voice analysis, my main research was about light and color, relating it to the IChing and acupuncture. I actually found everything so confusing that I felt like fixing most of the things to make them coherent and be able to use them, and that is how I became also a sound therapist and had to do my own software with two sound engineers, to compensate all the unfair competition in the US, that did not allow to leave wavs open to compare with other scientific FFT software, so that we have a correct tool for research, not commerce only.
I am so grateful that I have found my instrument with which to fly and trance out, and I do not know how much it is the dome with the drum. Just imagine to have a setting as in a temple or church in your living room. I also have not tried to record the sessions and if the harmonics will be recorded, due that triple voices can be heard coming out of the drum, they are multiple sounds like chanting, bells, talking and low sounds. It is actually amazing and surprising, just a slight movement of the drum will change the harmonics that come out of it. I drum with my fingers as a bat and also with the voice I imitate the harmonics that come out. Whatever it is, for sure it is healing and I am doing great after they gave me 10% life expectancy in 2005, I had two bone marrow transplants to heal acute Myeloblastic Leukaemia due to radiation, or probably radon gas toxicity, acquired 20 years before. My sister was my donor and had a mismatch in the DNA. Now I have 100% my donors blood, so I have changed DNA too, and I am better than ever. Actually I was suppose to meet Barbara Hero in Madrid the day I got hospitalized and she also had a terrible cold, it would not have been a good time I had no immune system. Barbara we did not get to meet, I hope we meet sometime soon.
For the Harmonic Signature we have to use a special mic, and I had to research about microphones. We actually need more the older mics, and I am buying them second hand through ebay for my internet students. The new ones have chips to cut out the harmonics and they sound good because they sound as the harmonics are there. This is not good for voice analysis with an FFT to 11khz. They are all geared for live performances that do not want the backup discomfort sounds that harmonics do with speakers. It is actually a drum mic that works best to pick up the harmonic signature, and actually drums are the instruments closer to the human voice. Nobody doing voice analysis has taken the time to know that different mics can do different results and sometime changes are due to the mic being used. If we depend on technology we have to make sure that we trust it, and that has been my main goal. Also I have specialized in understanding the changes in the voice and have found many times that a person is able to reverse completely their missing notes, becoming almost the stressed notes, when they talk from the heart and with lots of enthusiasm. Making a person aware of their healing voice is very important, we have to give the power back to the individual, not be dependent so much on others and not in technology either. For that reason I think it is very important that musicians, sound therapists like all of you get more involved in the technical part of sound therapy, as voice analysis presents to us.
I can demonstrate that the voice is the best instrument to use for healing, and it is shown with FFT, as well as a chromatic tuner with computer and also it shows up with what is most stable in the voice, the harmonic signature, between 3 to 8 khz or more.
I am very happy that at last we have a way to communicate and see how helpful technical data could be with artistic sound therapy.

I, too, am sorry that we did not get to meet when I was in Madrid. I was giving a presentation to a group of alchemists on the Chakras and the planets, using the Lambdoma Keyboard for them to find their own sunsigns. It would have been so marvelous to have experienced your temple and your drumming awareness. It was just not meant to be at that time in our lives.

Thank you so much Barbara, I hope we meet in this life time, I am here to stay for a long time, so I hope yo too. But I do not think I will visit the US in a long time, you are all invited to come visit and stay with me, if you come to visit Europe, I am in southeast Spain.
I am happy to say that finally after 2 years of waiting for my engineer programmers to finish the BiosonicFFT software for sound and voice analysis, it will be ready for the public next month. It will have all tutorials with graphics and videos to help anyone to use it independant of teachers, like I like it to be. Give back the creative power to everyone. Eventhough I will still teach via Internet on the so many ways to use it with toning and color therapy, which will not be included in the software instructions.
It is completely unique, due that you will be able to see it in 3 different ways of analysis, the Chromatic musical note analysis, colorgram bars with frequencies and FFT to 11khz, so we see the Harmonic Signature waveform of an individual voice and harmonics analysis from several fundamentals, that is really interesting to see how they interact and cross over. We will be able to use it for any type of research before and after any of your toning or music therapy sessions.
The engineer programmers will unlock all secrets and ways of decissions taken on programming, so we do not enter competitions and we really give a tool for research. You can change the excel pages to Lambdoma and we can do harmonics in the different Solfeggio o Lambdoma scales. Changing some of this data, you might need my help, but I will do it completely from my heart and my interest that you all can try this unique software.
I sincerely hope that music therapists like all of you, collaborate more with voice analysis specialists so this technology grows together hand in hand. You also should know that this software will be very affordable in prize and does much more than any other.
For me it has been a culmination of many years of research, eventhough there are many other functions that will be programmed in the near future. I am one of the practitioners that have specialized in understanding the changes in the voice, and would say that we can even reverse all patterns in the voice with the best tool of all, the voice itself, chanting and toning. So I took the middle road, between the technitians and the music artists, like all of you.
Hope this gives some new avenues of research and collaboration.

I have had the joy of spending much time around Barbara’s brilliance on many levels. Though my mind does not calculate in the same manner ~ my spirit immensely enjoyed those times of sharing space, time, warmth, creativity, brilliance and laughter! Barbara, I remember seeing you at breakfast one morning and mentioning that Albert Einstein was checking out Strawberry Hill Farm ~ and your signature remark “oh yes!”.
Barbara always said to me “say YES to everything!”
I think I have done pretty well following that wisdom.
In this time of settling, perhaps synthesis will arrive and give full expression in ways that I have yet to experience!

The Nature of Prayer
It seems that we have exhausted our opinions about hard sound. We have partitioned it into its various frequencies and have it stored in a nice little box.
Perhaps now in our discussion of “sound” we could talk about the nature of prayer, these subtle brethren of sound which are the gentle muse of the Divine.
What shall be our tuning fork of desire that evokes the blessing of the Divine? Are we calling out into a cacophonous storm of sound or is the gentle muse of Love calling out or name?
Perhaps we are the answer to Gods Prayer which would probably be, “See yourself in another yourself. Express the gentle muse of Love. Remember when you make a prayer you have to expect yourself to be part of the answer. I am You”.

Prayer IS THE MUSICAL TECHNOLOGY FOR DIVINE CREATIVITY. The heart-felt loving intent required for miraculous physical transformations, as well as the Divine unconditional LOVE that is the “universal healer,” is the musical mathematics of creative conscious that crystalizes the inner image or heart-mind into temporal reality.
“As above so below.” As it is with the great I AM, who made us in her/his image, the word (sound/music/math) divided the Water to manifest you (and everything else) simply for the sake of LOVE, in the spirit of JOY, for the sake of productive differentiation.
Now you know. You are the Creator’s musically-manifested heart-felt loving intent–a prayer bringing joy to the Source of sustenance and to the world.
Refer back to our discussions and revelations of 528Hz frequency of LOVE on this blog; then consider why Tesla, more than Einstein, prayed before creating and activating his energy technology (from radios to free energy generators). Tesla prayed with heart felt loving intent, reflecting the powerful co-creators we are and have always been meant to be. Really have enjoyed reading comments and experiences pertaining to the relationship of sound and color. My relationship with sound, color and light have been more on an experiential level than scientific.
When composing, I always create an intention for the musical piece and allow myself to become a clear vessel for the music to come through. Very often as I am composing I begin to see colors as I play the notes. The colors and depth of color are not just based on the notes that are played but are also based on the space between the notes and the overtones within. These notes and colors are also connected to the emotional field within. As the color and sound combine with the intention created I can begin to feel energetic movement and guidance during the compositional process and a connection in the heart that moves beyond explanation. The only way I can explain it is it ’s like painting with sound! Very often people tell me that they see color’s when listening to my compositions and it is very healing to them. I feel this is strongly connected to the intention of each musical piece, and the ability to release the how and why it is happening and to become part of a divine colloboration that will assist others. As I continue to take the musical journey from my mind to my heart my life becomes filled with rainbows of sound…Music is the Universal language of love!

I have just returned from “going alone to do the work of many” with the waters in Peru. The 528hz played a big part among the seven energetics that went with me (“the many”). Before the trip I was told to take only one tuning fork with me and realized from this blog that it was the 528. I was in such a crunch to go — having had only two weeks’ advance notice and taking several days to confirm it was for real — that only now that I am back have I gotten the chance to look more at what that part was about. Wow. The Resonator, the oxysilver, the LI/OVE H2O Concert for the Living Water… so much… wow. I’d like to follow up with some questions about the concert. The trip involved meeting a highly respected indigenous band that is also meeting with the Hopi here about new plans for the time of the eagle and condor flying together. This is the most interactive software for voice analysis, to give awareness to the practitioner and patient participant on the intention and vowel sounds that enhances their health. Hopefully we can soon do an update with the option to have the Lambdoma harmonics…. I do not think it is hard to program it or to add to the existing software of BiosonicFFT.
At this moment all the mdb, excel, calibration tables and interpretation texts of notes can be changed, because they are opened with no password. Only the Nutritional Sounds database is close and protected. This is if you want to change them for your interpretation of musical notes.It was always opened from the beginning of the software since 2000.
It is very unique and valuable software and I know that we can join both sound therapy communities.

The BiosonicFFT software for voice analysis can also help the practitioner and participant to know the importance of intention and emphasis when they speak. In order to include the Lambdoma harmonics anyone would would have to connect with Robert Walker of “Fractal Tune Smithy.” Robert has a software program FTS_Lambdoma that you may try out or purchase for a reasonable amount. Anyone can find their keynote there by humming and matching their own note. I have given Robert Walker the software that Robert Foulkrod and I developed back in the 1990’s. You can use that program for any frequency that will generate your own field of 256 harmonics. I encourage everyone in the healing arts to try it. Just Google “Fractal Tune Smithy.” ( FTS_lambdoma).

It has been awhile since I tuned-in to the blog. So many things to contemplate — perhaps add a word or two. Limiting myself — I will simply focus on one subject that seems to be threading right along.
Re: MarySol’s comments, October 30th. I believe we actually do “see” ultraviolet light, but not with our “physical eyes.” The mid-brain does perceive the higher ranges of light, and this perception can be developed and experienced by the “holographic” entity in subtle ways. Many have taught about “sungazing” and activation of the Pineal and Pituitary, with their separate mid-brain and higher field functions, e.g., the Zoroastrians, Incas, Oceanians, mystic Qabbalists, Rosicrucians, Tibetan Brahmans, Shintoists, and especially the Essenes of ancient Israel at Carmel, Qumran, and Therapeutae in Alexandria — to mention only a few such schools. Even Yogananda in his “Authobiography” discussed this divine practice — towards the end — in his stories about two separate “matriarchal” adepts he met that lived exclusively upon sunlight…incorporating their Kriya Yoga and counsel from Beings of Light… and keeping it all quite “secret.”
But, once again, I believe that the 7-fold light of the sun, especially the “New Sun” now manifesting, can be perceived, reflected and inflected, and serve as a gateway to the “True Sun” behind our planetary solar orb… that, in terms of Quantum physics, “lights every man and woman.” And of course, that more proximate sun, according to the great solar adept King Solomon, “shines for either a blessing or a curse,” depending upon the purity (intention) of one’s heart and mind. This WAS the teaching of Yeshua, by my lights…Mi’chalayay Maysim, “bringing the dead vessels back to life.” (It is also the principle now taking place behind global warming. Wrong intention.)
Certainly these high religious/mystical techniques have been “hidden” from humankind by numerous institutions, both religious and secular, patriarchal and matriarchal, including the AMA and FDA that would like to outlaw the sun altogether, it seems. “Too much sunlight causes skin cancer.” Next they will be telling us that breathing air is bad for your health! So much for building a “breath body” or “pneuma” with sunlight. However, it is understandable why such teachings have been kept sacred, i.e., away from the masses…as Yeshua taught, “For you it is given to know, but to them I speak in parables.” Remember that a great many horrors have been brought about by self-styled solar adepts who succombed to the “cursed” side of things, rather than the “blessed.” Notable sungazers, for example, would include Hitler (Thule Society), Alexander, the Roman Mithrites, and many other emperors and dictators throughout history that created tremendous darkness around the globe. There is the Light; and then there is the Dark… the old Yin and Yang, the balance of forces that must be properly dealt with. This is why such teachings are usually kept sacred, i.e., secret, taught in religio-mystical communities, shared among like-spirited men and women. Meanwhile, we have characters like HRM telling people to just go out and “do it.” This is assuredly “looking into the glass darkly.” BTW, the School of Light Pythagoras studied with was at Mt. Carmel… above Nazareth…not Egypt, per se, according to my research.
Anyway, there are all kinds of lights and colors, all kinds of fields, and — similarly — all kinds of sounds that correspond, both struck and unstruck, to quote the Vedas, and they all come from the One, the Central Sun, the original Word within the Image.

Though I have been reading this blog for months, I am finally driven to a response.
First let me say thank you all for having such an interesting discussion. It has been enlightening to say the least.
I also believe that ultra violet and infra red light are somehow perceiveable by us.
Have you ever thought about how the visible color/light (electromagnetic) spectrum is less than a full octave? That is because we don’t include the “invisible” infra-red or ultraviolet. I suggest that the colors of IF and UV should approximate the missing note of the chromatic scale (Gb/F#).
Obviously this is a very literal way of looking at the meshing of light/color to sound, however, I dont think it has been mentioned yet in the 144 posts on this board.
The “visible” light spectrum is proposed as 430 – 750 in Jonathan’s book Shifting Frequencies and elsewhere. I believe this to be a common understanding of the prism our eyes can plainly see. However, shouldn’t we be able to at least see or perceive a whole octave of light through our senses just as we can hear many octaves of music? Or at least, wouldn’t it be quite simple to then create an algorithm based on a 1:1 relationship between frequency of light : frequency of sound IF we include infra red or ultraviolet?
Both infrared and ultraviolet extend far enough in either direction of visible light that we could include them in our visual program. for instance infrared could be Gb and ultraviolet could be F# .
Anyway, this was just where my thoughts on color to sound relationships go. Again, very literal, but I think it would be really cool one day to create a real-time analyzer that displayed each frequency by color. If you were to layer 11 bars of the light spectrum on top of each other, you could easily display the entire spectrum of humanly audible sound (harmonics included) with light. Each bar would represent a different octave starting with 20 HZ – 40 – 80 – 160 – 320 – 640 – 1280 – 2560 – 5120 – 10240 – 20480 HZ.
I would use such an analyzer to not only “show” people their voices like what Marysol is doing. I would also like to have large-scale versions for lighting effects at concerts/festivals. Let me know if anyone would like to help me design something like this.

Dont you think the key to our survival and transcendence as a race lies in our need to be responsible with power? I dont think we will ever get further than this beautiful but quickly receding planet unless we prove to the universe that we wont destroy it.
I think my point is that as long as we have Hitler’s, who take their power and abuse it through lies and hatred, we wont be accepted beyond this world or allowed to hurt more than ourselves. The premature loss of such a resourceful planet would be painful to our galaxy, yet I am positive that our galaxy would prefer it to seeing us run rampant throughout wreaking havoc as we go.
Further, in order to prevent such situations from occurring it seems that the best solution would be to have a more liberal view on spreading mystical knowledge as far as possible.
If their were more people just as powerful as Hitler but bent toward the light, wouldn’t we have a better chance of overcoming him next time he springs up in our midst? Shouldn’t the masters of this world prepare us and educate us with all haste so that we may see the truth and light?
I believe that someday we may reach a critical mass of enlightenment and finally transcend all of the negativity. But I also believe that as long as knowledge is withheld, we can not expect this change to happen fast enough. I hope that we all here are doing our part to spread what we know with godspeed in order to raise our consciousness and save our planet.

As for your comments: I am 1000% deLighted that you are transforming yourself with the sunlight, down to the centripetal and centrifugal spirals of the DNA (see Walter Russell there), and beating down the negative miasms. Still, in my former post I tried to caution about HRM (“judge a prophet by his fruits’) — but, that association must always be left up to individuals and their personal choices – and be respected.
My experience over 33 years of sungazing (actually even as a child) is that there are several parts of our multi-dimensional being, e.g., simplified — 3rd, 4th, and 5th-dimensional, linked with even higher dimensions and luminous frequencies within those “Worlds of Light.” HRM seemingly ignores those concepts.
Now, there is absolutely no question that the physical and emotional bodies, etheric and astral, et al can each be rather rapidly nurished with natural sunlight and the hidden “mana(s)” therein. However, unless the more dominant, higher, Light Body (Causal) itself is nourished, all is essentially for nought. We must BE the Light, not just use it. We have to obey it. That’s Buddha, Lao-Tzu, Rama, Viracocha, Yeshua, Enoch, et al. And, that’s enough “preaching,” no?

John Tone, sir: Actually the system you describe, the F# as a primary “axis” within the color spectrum, the eight-fold Light body (including ultraviolet and infrared ranges) and sound correspondences (as opposed to the chakra/nadi endocrine system, per se), is all laid out in my recent book — also available at the first web site above. Even your breakdown of frequencies roughly corresponds to the “Vector Equilibrium” of Buckminster Fuller given therein.
I agree that our survival as a “human” species, along with the “physical” planet, very much depends upon our intelligent use of power. However, your “more liberal view on spreading mystical knowledge as far as possible” assumes that all those who receive such information are desirous of taking it seriously and submitting to the guidance offered from higher Beings of Light.
My experience, and I think you might agree — certainly born out by history — is that most people like things just as they are! They like their meat, their physio-sexual-masochistic urges, their social and economic positions, their mastery of limited knowledge bases, blah, blah. What’s the expression? — “Many are called, but few are chosen.” Or, how about, “Don’t cast pearls before swine.” — not to be at all rude or seemingly superior/arrogant. God forbid! But, the point is that in my lifetime I have met very few people who are willing to completely change everything, if necessary, and turn over control of their lives to divine beings. The evolved Being of Light, Yeshua, clearly stated that one must sell all he/she has and follow him. He also taught that what HE did — WE can do! Where he went — we can go. He even demonstrated his Light Body before some of his disciples, ascending and descending right in front of them. He had developed his higher Light Beingness…just as others before and after him have taught. (This is the true Qabalah, for example.)
Those who worship the “physical” sun are in error. There must be a community, a structured teaching, working with the Sun of Righteousness. This is not a trivial matter; space, time, energy, matter, inertia, gravity, etc. all depend on what we now do. This is not my opinion — it is physics. Look at what’s happening.
In my community we say the real answer for our time is that there is definitely this “New Sun” manifesting. Global warming is but small potatoes compared to what’s in store. Malachi predicted it, as did Yeshua, the Mayans, the Incas, the Native Americans, the Vedas, Buddha, Zoroaster, and many others. The “wicked,” i.e., those on the wrong beam, carrying the inharmonic radiations, will either gradually turn to that powerful new guidance system, be “reborn,” or become extinct. The new species will be, metaphorically/prophetically, that “144″ thousand you speak of…a new race more light than material, more spiritual than physio-psychic. And that’s enough “preaching” on that subject.
I will only add that the main reason I penned my recent book — mostly on healing with sound, light, color, and water — was to explain some of these things, to encourage folks to get interested in what’s really going on, read “between the lines,” and perhaps seek out our School of Light, which is in many, many ways actually quite “liberal.” Ecumenical, non-sectarian, completely accepting and tolerant of all who wish to participate in the Teachings of Light — whatever their status, race, sexual orientation, creed, faith, belief system, etc. And, please do forgive one last web site inclusion: http://www.cosolargy.org/

The topic of “The Sound of Light” has truly brought in some interesting and thought provoking comments. I want to thank each and every one of you who contributed, either through your writings or through simply reading the material here.
From my perspective, we’ve truly traveled the depths and widths of the sound current—with people offering a myriad of responses to many different approaches to the subject of “The Sound of Light”.
My purpose in this blog is simply to set the stage for you—to create a topic that you can reply to. I have my own thoughts, opinions, experiences with regard to sound which may coincide with some of you and conflict with others of you.
I’m not sure we have truly finished our exploration of “The Sound of Light”—there are so many other places we can go with our discussion. One area in particular that has been negligent is the importance of intervals with regard to the topic of light, as well as many of the sub categories that have manifested here. Yet, now that we have gone over 150 comments, I’d like to change our focus of attention for a while.
This new topic has certainly been discussed in this blog already, but I think that it merits its own focus. It is about “The Power of Intent”. Coupled with the frequencies, tones, mantras and other sounds we’re dealing with, I believe this is truly a major contributor to the outcome and effects of the sounds with which we are working. The Nature of Intent
As “healers” I think it is very important to look at the nature of our intent.
Basically we are trying to second guess the will of God.
This way of thinking, to say the least, is purely subjective since every individual has their own spin on how God thinks and what should be the final outcome of this process.
I feel the easiest way to resolve this issue is with prayer. First petition the Divine for help and then accept responsibility for your own actions. It also helps to have the understanding that; We are the first cause and the last effect of all our actions and What we put out will come back to us.
It is the nature of sound to work in a feedback loop and it is a matter of my own personal experience that eventually these sound energies do return to you since in essence you are the first cause and the last effect. The issue of how long it takes is up to you. You are basically living in a river that is flowing in many directions at the same time. To overly simplify it you can think of Kundalini energy, or whatever energy you choose to call it, as flowing in many directions at the same time. Depending on which chakeras are open at the time you are working on your client, will partially determine your underlying intent since all chakeras have their underlying energy signatures. These energy signatures of different chakeras can be changed by your personal understanding of their signatures. You are also using this energy to recombine with the sounds of your voice and with your personal intent as to the eventual outcome. The intent is part of the aliveness of consciousness that you are projecting into your client as you manipulate the will of the Divine. The God/Goddess that you are working on is also currently using energy to create a reality to stay the way they are. You as the healer are trying to help them go to the next level of understanding with their healing process. Healing as with many subjective realities is a long term process which uses many different energies to bring about a desired goal. Being healed is up to the soul of the client as to whether they are healed or not.
In reality you are healing yourself so be gentle while you learn to Love yourself and
Be in harmony with your understanding of the Divine intention.

I believe intent is often a prayer when it comes from the heart and spirituality of the individual. I do not see it as a “manipulation of the Divine” as for me it is about showing up and getting out of the way. I have also found in my years of intuitive sound healing work that the vibrational healing delivered with intent need not be an audible sound. When there are environmental constraints to using sound in any given moment, it is effective to simply open to the sound, focus on the part of the body or energy field that is calling for healing, hear the sound within your own being and exhale….on the wave of intent and breath, the release is facilitated much the same as an audible sound. Of course, as you say, any “healing” is up to the receptivity and intent of the client. And yes, as we are all one, this is a self healing process for all involved where love and harmony with the Divine are the essential ingredients.

There is a simple, reference-able answer that you have all commented around. It proves that light is sound (and that applies to metaphysics as well). Fiber optics! translator is coded math just as the translator of the physics and metaphysics is math. Left brain’s need to organize and relate to the the right brain’s fluid continuety. Where the two meet – Nervana – is a cortical connection of not just numbers, fibers, but the medium of relationships – Math.

Thank you Jonathan for a most intriguing topic for consideration. My offering into this fascinating discussion relates to a Biblical reference. In St. John’s Book Of Revelation there is a description of a throne set in heaven.
Around the throne there are “seven spirits.” Uranda, founder of the Attunement service I offer in my healing ministry, places these same seven spirits in the body temple, each spirit working in and through one of the seven ductless hormonal glands of the endocrine system. The first spirit works through the Gonads, and is called the “Spirit of the New Earth.” The second spirit, “Spirit of the Single Eye,” works through the adrenal glands. The spirit of the Islets of Langerhans in the Pancreas is the “Spirit of Blessing.” The “Spirit of Purification” works its immunity magic through the Thymus. The “Spirit of Life” shines radiantly from the fifth level of the Parathyroid glands. The sixth level is the domain of the “Spirit of the Womb”, also called the “Spirit of Truth,” which exercises Its design and control over all the other glands through the Pituitary Gland. At last, the Pineal Body provides a throne at the seventh level for the “Spirit of Love.”
These seven spirits are simply differentiations of the Spirit of Love, just as the rainbow spectrum is the differentiation of white light. Love is differentiated through the seven endocrine glands. Uranda refered to the Body Temple as a harp upon which the incarnate angel we each are plays music. The musical score is supposed to originate in the realms of light, in heaven, resounded on earth by the angels incarnate. Unfortunately, this does not manifest as a general rule. This “music of the spheres,” when played on these musical instruments, would create a beautiful and colorful world, one that would reflect the beauty and colors of heaven.
These spirits sing tones, and they are related to colors. For example, when I am holding my hands over the Pineal Body during attunement, I inevitably hear a tone the pitch of F, sometimes F# if I’m working with a person who is spiritually transformed. I also see a Violet point of radiant light with my eyes closed. As I come down to the other six endocrine glandes I hear lower pitches and see other colors of the rainbow spectrum. I’ve charted them in my book Sacred Anatomy, and we work with these pitches and colors in my Attunement With Sacred Sound intensives/workshops for sacred energy workers. I am convinced, from personal experience, that the “Sound of Light” is the Music of the Spheres . . . but not the spheres of the solar system. The real music of the spheres is being sung and played by angels in the realms of light. The Word that created light in the beginning is the “shem” of the Creator. The “shem” is the vibration of God, as someone pointed out relative to the Aramaic word for “name.” “Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord” can be re-phrased as “Happy is the one who comes on the vibration of Love.” The music of Life, the sound of light, is a joyful noise. It is also quite colorful.
I believe that as we entertain these matters from a spiritual and mystical approach, we stand a better chance of understanding and knowing the truth, the way things actually are in heaven and how they may be made manifest here on earth.

The Outsourcing of Spirituality
Since the dawn of time man has been externalizing his perception of Divinity.
We have constantly given names and attributes to those forces of nature which we consider to be outside of ourselves. We constantly empower forces outside of ourselves to take care of it and then we draw on these external forces to fix it. Invariably this leads to a subtle contempt of the earth plane where all the problems seem to be happening in the first place. Don’t you think it is about time to take responsibility for our own creations and fix this reality ourselves? We need to stop empowering external forces to fix things and repair this reality that we created. You are Gods! Stop giving your power away and empowering forces outside of yourself with attributes they don’t possess. You are Love! That is really the only thing that you need to be conscious of, all the rest are just the projections of our own Divinity.
Take back your own Divinity and reassert your Love of the Divine in yourself and in others.
In the broad scheme of things the only thing you will be asked when you leave this reality is:

I quite agree with your piece about F# and ultraviolet light, and G-flat relative to infra-red. Perhaps these “invisible” colors are only felt and not to be seen.
I really resonated with your perspective on power and the urgency of spreading mystical awareness around the globe. This is the impetus behind my book Sacred Anatomy and my Sacred Sound & Attunement workshop intensives. Paramount to the process of saving the planet from destruction by the Hitler’s is, of course, spirit. Spirit penetrates all levels of consciousness. The spirit of love is the most powerful transforming force. More powerful than knowledge. “Not by power, nor by might, but by my spirit, sayeth the Lord of hosts.”

Hello Everyone,
I just realized that no more wonderful sharing has happened here since last year. I believe it was really amazing all the comments that are here and many persons and practitioners of all sound theray light therapy should read it. Or at least I invite everyone to start again sharing our views, because much is hapenning out there and much is ready for our research projects too.
I believe this sharing blog was necessary for all of us, and an example of co-creating to enter this new world.
I have many news to share and would like to know if anyone is out there reading this.

I find it extremely interesting, Marysol, that you posted your comment on what those of us following the spiritual path of Eckankar consider our spiritual new year!! I’ve been studying the teachings of ECK (Holy Spirit) for nearly 40 years now and have had many personal experiences with the Light and Sound of God (Divine Spirit), another take on all of these wonderful comments this past year.
In my daily spiritual practices and exercises I sing the word HU (hue), similarly to how some folks sing AUM. This has led to my experiencing the Light and Sound, both of which can be seen, heard, and felt. It is that which runs through all life, which gives life to all, actually, and is the very essence of the Creator Itself. It is what we are made of.

great!!!!s, it is wonderful this blog is still alive. I am happy we come to similar situations even if we all have different paths to walk. I heard that the final situation where we need to go is already written, but due that we do have free will how we get there changes as we go along and we have already changed the results of this important transformation in consciousness several times.
So very little is going to happen in 2012, only the sun will start doing its storms slowly coming up in intensity. And we know it has consciousness so it will not where to hit. And there will be no more sun cycles so scientists are going to be very confused, but we will have time to reorganize everything, as we have already everything we need to do the transformation, we just need the signals from the sun making love to mother earth, and the result is wonderful Aurora Borealis, all the colors of life and love. Hope we can continue sharing, I have much to say about this coming years, and I am sure you all have much say too. It is important we use internet as much as we can, because later it will come and go, so we have already a telepathic communication to continue supporting each other.

There can be no light in the Universe without sound because light is created by interactions between atoms, and such interactions may be defined as sound.
There can be no life in the Universe without sound because life was created by interactions between atoms, and such interactions may be defined as sound.
Thus, sound and light are the Father and Mother of creation and life is their Child.
Sound may be defined as “the transfer of periodic vibrations between colliding atoms or molecules.” In plain English this simply means that a vibrating atom bumps into its neighbor and causes the neighbor to vibrate in the same way.
At the moment of collision something else, rather magical, happens: Light is created.
The reason I use the word magical is because no one knows exactly why light is created. When any two atoms bump into each other it is their magnetic shells that surround each atom that bump, much like the bumpers on cars, ensuring that the cars themselves are not damaged. If you’ve ever played with two magnets and tried to put two north poles or two south poles together you will know the spongy feeling that occurs, keeping the magnets apart; this is what two atoms experience, only on a much smaller scale. Every time two vibrating atoms bump against each other the two magnetic shells interact, creating a small amount of light. The frequency of light created in this way depends on the energy in the collisions, meaning how fast they bump together.
Try this experiment: Rub your two hands vigorously together. You feel warmth. This is because the atoms in one hand are slipping past the atoms in your other hand, creating heat, which is just another name for light. The light you create by this friction method is in the infrared part of the spectrum of electromagnetism, invisible to our eyes but quite visible to some species of bat, owl, snake and mosquito.

I know it is different to heat the hands rubbing them that to just put our mind in our hands, a heat comes out by the nervous system. It is enough to bend a spoon and this is what is healing in any of our therapies.

I actually did a presentation to the Synthonics group in Florida last month and I was able to demonstrate to them that the missing color that I come up with the biosonicFFT software is the same as theirs, only I take much less time, just 5 minutes with two 40seconds recording of the voice. They take long time measuring the 3 color fields in each eyes. It was great to coincide, it was a good confirmation and that lecture it is also there, Solar Coherence, and another video of mine about Coherence es health, dolphins in therapy, I recommend that you see it, if you want more there is more in english, but so much more in spanish. I cannot translate all the videos I do for the Soleris Foundation that I created to study the Conciousness change due to maximum solar activity that we will have. I have very positive and unique knowledge of what is to come soon. The sun will come to help us, to free us in free energy and much more. I can talk more about this and the opening of the Thymus gland related to the refraction theory, the true refraction theory of Johann Goethe that I fused with the Iching in the Biosonic Software.
I am doing now videos about TAO Univere taking about the Tzolkin and Tao all the physics behind the software. Which normally I do not talk unless I am ask to do so. Really it does not help sell the software, but if you appreciate it you will see there is much right science behind it.
